i received a call from 0319405487 and they confirmaed my banking details which all seemed to be correct together with the ID number,they then advised that my FNB discount voucher will be posted to me,im scared now what if they take all the money form my account HELP isnt there anything to be done with such

Call FNB directly, or go into a branch, and speak to them about what can be done...

Guys please beware of these people as soon as you the number, DO NOT pick up....

i just received a call from the same number few minutes ago confirming my residential and id number about sending a discount voucher

i got the same call offering me the free vouchers i didn't ask for.  

I got a call from the same number asking if i have received the gold card that was sent to me, then I asked what gold card I am not expecting any cards.  anyway, she told me she has all my details and she read them to me.

How does our personal details get to their hands?

I am also using FNB.

I've just received the same call, this is very strange. By the time I said I'm not interested she hanged.

I got  a call 031-940-5487 and they were confirming my details including my banking details and when i asked them which company they were calling the lady dropped the phone and i see that i am not the only person who had encounter this problem. And when i called the number back they said its invalid

I also received a call from this number and they had all my banking detail,residential address and they said they sent me a gold card which when i use ,i will  get 30% discount at most of the clothing retailers,grocery shops and roadside assistance.They then went on to ask which date the debit oder can go through and i refused because everything the lady was saying didnt  make any sense...

My wife also got the same call today.

Hw did u resolve this matter, coz it seems like we have same problem

I also got the same call a few minutes ago, the lady got all my details and when i told her i didnt apply for any cards she said to me its a discount card from the government and everybody is getting one. Why are they targeting FNB users?

I got a similar phone call yesterday from an Indian man. He wanted to know if I received my gold card, he said that I could get rewards. He mentioned all the rewards and apologised because I haven't received my package. He knew my ID number, my residential address and that I banked with FNB. He wanted to confirm my account number, he knew the first two numbers and when I refused to finish the number, the line went dead.

I got a call from the same number this morning answered but no one was talking. after some few hours the same number called back and an Indian woman was asking me if I have received three golden cards yet and I said no, and she apologized for not receiving them and told me that I will get them and will be able to get 30% discount on all my groceries and shopping, then I told her I never asked for those cards but she tried to explain that it isn't a contract or binding or credit cards all South Africans are getting them so it is easy for saving money, I then asked what company is she from then she hang up.  I am so, so very scared of my bank account, and personal information.  what if this is fraud and all our particulars are being used somewhere, how do these people know so much about us whereas we never gave them the information, this is not good.

I also just received the same call. I don't know why I googled that number but things just didn't add up. They know my residential address, ID, bank account number... And it was an Indian man on the phone asking me whether I received my solid gold reward card. How the hell do they get our details from FNB? Has anyone had any debits going off their accounts after these calls. I was being asked when I receive my salary in my account...when I refused they hung up and tried calling back and the number doesn't exist.

One important thing to remember if these losers have any of your personal information such as your social security number, date of birth or drivers license make sure you register with identity protection notify the credit agencies as well as your banks!!

I got the same call on 13/06/2014, an Indian lady wanted to know when I get paid, ie is it month end or mid month. She also wanted to confirm my FNB banking details, and she knew my ID number, my residential address. She also asked me if I got my gold card that offers 30% when shopping in many shops in South Africa. I very worried that they can steal all my money from my account.

this i'm after them and when i find them things are going to get hot because this are former employees of FNB watch out
