got a same number today, went to voicemail since hp was off. call back no answer, that when i decided to google and found this forum

i got this number twice, but both time my fon is off, who is that?????????? i called back but reply is the number dialled is not in service

I just got a call maybe a misscall.... judge from they that answer the call said its from astro?
i think before i was register astro.com as a maxis user.....
maybe that the way they get my number~

I received a phone call from this number, with this guy claiming he was from Astro. He was telling me I was among the "chosen" 50 to get the latest astro decoder for free. I felt suspicious at first but then later he sounded convincing, asked for my personal information and said the company will call back in 48 hours to confirm the registration. Later i found out it was a whole scam, as i called Astro to personally verify with them. Apparently there was no such offer going on. and then i googled this number and found this page. And as many of you have pointed out, when i tried calling back this number the network seemed to be busy, all the time. Turns out it's an invalid number. The only comfort i can find now is that there was no bank account information involved. If the caller calls back the next time, I would know what to expect. Thanks for posting up your comments.There are so many scams going on out there, i guess we have got to be extra alert.

i got this missed call from this number too... and i tried to call the number, and its invalid number... and i google it, and found all these information.. luckily i didnt pick it up... it'll be a waste of my time to talk to this scam people... thanks

This number appear on my HP 4 times.. on day after yesterday 2 times, yesterday and today. yesterday i call back, but this number is invalid.. today i pick it up, but no one make a voice.. I google it, found this forum.. Thanks guys.. Dont layan laa dis number.
