weird number.

That number called me too and the women claimed to be from the N.S.W Department of Education and Training.

They called me as well, i didn't answer but they're very persistent, called me at 6pm, 10pm, 10am, 11am and 5 more times after that but they never leave a message.

Very persistant wont leave a message, i even pressed the answer button and put the phone down and left it for a minute and they rang back, idiots. Dunno who they are, thought it was my ex at first, LOL but its not.

had a call from this number.  woman said she was from Australian Institute of something....  wanted me to answer questions about my children and x-partner..... I told her I wasnt comfortable telling any of that sort of information and she got quite irate and told me that I had to.... so I hung up!!!

I have had this number trying to ring me twice that I know of,last night, both times while I was taking another call... I tried recall, but it was engaged....I live in Tassie... cant wait fer them to ring again...:D

Same problem.Never answer and they never leave a message.They ring,don't leave a message then ring straight back on both home and mobile.Even just hang up on them , still can't take a hint. To add to the morning and night calls received by some of you i even receive calls on saturday and sunday.They must have an idea i'm not answering there calls after three weeks.
As mentioned , when i have rang the number back , the phone (if there is one) at the other end doesn't even ring.

I'm in Brisbane and was informed (snail mail) they would call me a few days before the call. This number is used by the Australian Institute of Family Studies. (You won't find it on their literature though because it's only for their outgoing calls.) Their website is www.aifs.gov.au. Their questions can get a little personal... They seem to assume you have received their mail out before they call you and they seem to be okay about calling at odd hours.

just had a call from that number too at 8pm at night. not impressed. called back found they have a website its www.srcentre.com.au   Just another telemarketing company bombarding us at ridiculous hrs. mungrels.

just answer and say you dont  or do want to do the survey  no big deal they will keep calling if you dont answer

well i to have been receiveing these random cals up to as late as 11pm EST and have now rang the 1800023040 number and asked to be removed from their list. and if this does not happen i will be referring this company onto the ombudsman. i hope that resolves the issue

On 19 may 2012 @ 11:10, I had a call from 0383834900. No conversatio took place.

I got a call from this number .Yeh they are a survey agency, I think they work for the government .they had all sort of information about me even centerline payments!! They were asking about how many children I had and if I'm married or not but what concerns me is they know things shouldn't be available to anyone even government agencies!!!!
