These guys are very constant and extremely rude. They just keep calling!! Members of my family have been goaded into arguments, and even when we have been polite these Indian sounding males and females have been uncomprehendingly rude! They do not even pretend to be polite and certainly do not listen when you ask them not to call. Clearly someone needs to explain the meaning of 'customer service' to these fools. Is there no accountability for this company and their employers?! I mean, what exactly are these guys selling anyway? They tend to call just to verbally abuse and harass people...

They don't say they are from Telstra but they talk about your local calls will be free, mobile phone calls capped, next bill will show a credit of $50 but they need to confirm your DOB, that your are an Australian Citizen, drivers license or pension or medicare number to confirm you are eligible to get the reduced fees and credit. I didn't provide those details as I told them why would they need them as I was already a customer of Telstra and have all the infor they need. I HUNG UP
Called Telstra and they confirmed that this is a scam!

They rang a few times to our business line and hung up. I had warned them their called had been monitored.
Please bar this number before they start doing this to everyone else, it look like they having too much free time and too much fun distracting others with the "hung up calls".

I thought Telstra did someithg about the Indian Telemarketers that keeps annoying me with their phone calls using 0386442948 but apparently Telstra from Australia does not care a [***] that the Indians Telemarketers are abusing their Copywrite Business Name.
It has been 7 months already that they 0386442948 keepS calling and never STOPS because Telstra is too LAZY to make a phone call to close the Indian Telemarketers Down.
Maybe Telstra is getting so much money from those Annoying Indian Telemarketers that they do not care a [***] about their Business Reputation.
Telstra is probably Laughing all the way to the Bank after getting so much money from those Indians Telmarketers that calls 14 times a day on my phone. The Indian Telemarketers using Telstra Logo and Name has been calling me 3 calls in 5 minutes then every 30 minutes then every 45 minutes.
Shame on TELSTRA, the Australian Government should REMOVE and STOP Telstra from using the name TELSTRA and their Company Logo for Allowing and SUPPORTING Indian Telemarketers to ANNOY the people of Australia just for a few extra Dollars.
Telstra may get away right now because those Australian Politicians don't care a [***] but one of these days when the Liberal and the Labour Government are Removed from power in the coming Independence Election from England, everyone of the current and previous CEO and the Entire present and past Administration including their Share Holders will be send to Prison for 50 Years behind BARS.
Owning a Business Name and a Log does not give the right to a Business to Partner with another Business like Indians Telemarketers to ANNOY 14 times a days with their phone calls.
Telstra and the CEOs will be HUNTED DOWN soon enough and their Money will not save them from going to PRISON and getting the HIV Virus.

I also have had calls from this number. When they asked for private info such as drivers license number, Medicare number etc....I told them no. They then passed me onto a so called senior customer service officer. I didn't loose my cool and I told him that under no uncertain circumstances that I would give him any info as he wouldn't tell me where he was calling from. I asked how he got my phone number as it is a silent number and has been for over 16 years, his come back that I was mistaken and my number wasn't a silent number. Number and was assured it was silent. Today I have had over 15 calls starting from 2.30pm and they are still calling and it is now 7.30pm. The guy told me his name was Elvin....maybe it's Elvin and the Chipmunks!

So sick of this number calling 5+ times a day! I have a toddler trying to sleep. I have never answered the call. My husband has telling them not to call again but they have since. They have just called 3 times in 10 minutes!!! So sick if these scammers calling.

We have had 17 phone calls since 12:05pm tody, sometimes 1 phone call on top of another, they don't answer and they dont leave a message. So over it, wish something could be done

We have this number call us about 6 to 8 times a day.  I have had enough.

I just had another call as I posed the last message. I got someone this time and they wanted to speak to Mr Smith.  I told them they had the wrong number and he hung up.  Telstra obviously doesn't mint selling our information to these people.  I know this as I never use the land line number for anything I always list my mobile as a contact number.

I have been receiving calls from these indian sounding people for weeks saying that people are complaining about the current services we are offered in our area (they will try anything)...they have offered this big fang dangle package that sounds absolutely ridiculous. The most part I struggle with is trying to understand them! I have saved their phone number in our landline as "Don't answer" so no one else in the house will answer them. I also registered on the  Do Not Call Register but they still manage to call?? Totally over it!!
