- Lou| 2 repliesPlease!, why make a phone call, say nothing, hang up and then don't answer the phone when you are called back?.........WHO does this?, obviously a HALF WIT with alot of money but no brains. Anyway, your 50cents, go ahead, as long as I don't have to pay, enjoy your day.

- Not happy Jan replies to Lou| 1 replyI too am sick of this number ringing and not leaving a message, when you call it back there is no one to answser the phone, and this can go on all day when you finally check your phone at night like 20 missed calls.
- brad2 times today answer the phone no answer than hang up
- SteveI had a missed call. It's from the banks, with unusual transactions happening in your account. Mine was skimmed
- Receiver| 1 replyThis number is from a private agency ,portraying themselves as 1 a bank 2 credit company 3 Visa service
They use a satellite internet service and internet VOIP telephone service at a cost of 12 cent untimed for local and
national calls. They can be located in any Capital city but able to dial out from the Melbourne 039 number and pretend
to be calling from Melbourne using a recording service of their conversations with you. They do not pay for an incoming
phone service as they cannot record your conversation.
Having purchased a list of credit defaulters, they impersonate a bank {they believe if they are hired by a bank as a
contractor ,they are entitled to forget they only represent the bank,and are able to claim they are the bank}
they contact the parties on their lists and using various ploys and baits, they engage in a conversation and extract as
much missing information as needed to update their contact lists.- Call type: Debt collector
- Receiver replies to Not happy JanThey will keep calling until you answer and confirm your identity and phone number.
They are a debt collector assigned to get your correct ,current phone number in order to be engaged in conversation.
They do not have a return phone number, they cannot record your incoming message, and are only interested in recording
your conversation when they ring you ,and update your details that they have on record.Normally a statement that
someone has accessed your bank account will have you pouring out all your details to this total stranger.
They use auto dial to keep dialing you until they have a success.
Best method of dealing with them,is try your phone service provider and have them barred/blocked and then if they call
just delete their call. They are probing to see if your phone is active. - The BlocSilly people call but no one there. What to do? Add Blocked Calls to your Contacts, add this and any others that bug you, save (iPhones) but should work on others. Set and forget.

- cTHIS IS NOT NAB! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFO! 03 9260 2000 if this number calls you, just block them!
- Caller: 03 9260 2000
- c replies to Receiverthey impersonated themselves to be from NAB asking for my banking password today after asking for my name; was curious and gave them a false first name close to my own (had enough calls from NAB to know how they identify you), then they asked for my telephone banking password...laughted at them and hung up...not debt collectors...if they ever were, they no longer are as I don't owe a cent and confirmed it with NAB who told me they have been getting heaps of complaints about this # and it has nothing to do with them and to never answer it again...
- colleenI had just received a call from this number and I'm glad I had answered. It was NAB telling me my card was fraudulently used in Newcastle for a large eftpos transaction and to let me know that my card was cancelled and new one with a new pin would be sent out to me. I didn't believe it had first until I went online soon after and sure enough my card was used today when I have been home all day and I'm in a different state to where the eftpos transaction took place today. So please don't ignore it.

- Daniel replies to Libby| 2 repliesHi there, just here to give some clarity.
In respect to anyone saying that the number 0392602000 is a scam, please stop spreading these rumors. I work for the NAB in docklands as a home loan advisor and my calls in particular relate to review of ones home loan, and had a customer in which I could've restructured in order to save a decent amount of money for her, but was reluctant mid way of the call due to websites like this lying about what the call really is about. This is the bottom line to see if you're actually getting and outbound call by a company or a scam; call the number back and the robot will confirm. You can even call it now if you like to clarify, but don't go spreading rumors about this number as it can be a very beneficial call. - Moe Howard replies to DanielThere's not a valid area code in the US that starts with a 0 or 1, and if what you're selling didn't have a foul stench to it, what's the big idea with the spoofed number. You sir are peddling junk.
- Moe Howard replies to DanielBetter yet, why reply to a nearly three year-old post?
