A lady called me yesterday from this number intending to offer me a phone contract. I was like no, how did you get my number and she says they randomly selected my number. They wanna do a credit check to deternime if i qualify. first where would they get my credit information since i dont belong in Ausie.

I recently changed from optus to vodafone ( better plans ) but kept the same number. For the last 3 months i have missed/recieved at least 30 fone calls from this number, but every time i do answer there is no one on the other end. I ring back and its optus customer care or research or something like that, is there a minimum amount of times for a phone company to ring you before it become harrasment?

A girl called me and tried to offer optus cheap.  tried to get my credit card details.  When I ended the call I recieved over 100 more calls. Everyday I recieve a phone call from this number.  I think this is one for the police

I first got a call from this number last week (about five days ago) i answered and it was a lady from. Optus saying im a loyal customer and will recieve discount on my bill she then asked for my details and credit details. I hung up. The same number has been calling me every day since at rabdom  times during the day.
