I received a call twice from this number.  The first time was at 8.30am on 28/03/2008 and the second time at 5.15pm.  Would like to know where this call came from? I thought it was from Melbourne, Australia given the area code.  Is it another telemarketer again?

I received a call from this number too at 9:15a.m 28 04 08, the caller said he was John Jackson from queensland health and he wanted to know if i had any children under 13 months old in my house so he could ask about their diet and nutritian.  
This is a Melbourne, Australia number ( not Queensland) so the whole this was sus and I hung up.

I received a call from this number at 9:15 a.m the man said he was "John Jackson" from Queensland health and he wanted to know it I had any children under 13 months living with me.  He wanted to know about their diet and nutritian.  The number is from Melbourne, not Queensland , the man sounded older with a fairly "polishe" speaking voice.  I asked him to repeat his message and then I hung up.

Received a call from that number on 29.04.2008.

Have had two calls from this number..... Rang the number back and it said it was some marketing crap....... do not answer these calls

Yeah, two yesterday (04/08/08) @ 08:30 & 19:15, another today (the day after) @ 11:00 hours, and yes, it appears to be an AU number in Victoria.If whoever it is tries again, I might answer it because I actually live in Queensland, and the line I've read isn't going to wash with me (about being from Qld health). Mind you, we must all have given out our phone# for this to happen...how many of us receiving calls from this number recently filled out the AustPost online survey? That is my guess. Something must tie us all together for this fella to have gleened all our numbers 'out of the blue' as it were. It's not illegal to telemarket, but it IS illegal to pretend you're from a govt. office when your not....might just give the local coppers a heads-up over this ;)

i also have been recieving calls from this number but they will not speak to me they wont to speak with my boyfriend they said its confidential all they told me is they are from the sydney instutude of tafe, and they said they will call back..... its really wierd

receive missed calls from this number for three weekends in a row some were after 5.00 pm on a saturday and thought it was probabably charity or so, when  i returned phonecall it said message bank 6 is full havnt heard back since ,thought i would type it in computer and found this site and its great punched in other numbers from sus callers and found them here as well i wish my phone could filter through this site and i wouldnt have to listen to telemarketers all the time Cheers

Down the bottom of this link it says these type of companies are exempt from the DNC register....how convenient! Next time they call I'll see if my number can be removed from their database. I'm not going to hold my breath though.

*kazonte: if they had called after 5pm on a saturday, as you said, then they're breaching the standard and should be reported for doing so.

I have receieved this phone call all the time. I just wish that they would go away.

This number appears to be from a company conducting surveys and research on behalf of other organisations. In my case, they called on behalf of city west water, wanting me to do a survey. I had participated in a survey 3 months earlier, but after receiving 6 calls on friday, 4 calls on saturday and another 2 calls on monday, I had enough! When I was finally able to speak to one of their workers, they denied having called me that many times. I made it clear that I wanted to be removed from their call list, and am now considering submitting a complaint to city west water. If anyone finds out the actual name of this telemarketing company please let us know.

I have recieved 2 calls in the past 2 days (30/31 Jan 2009) around the same time each day. I have missed both calls and tried to ring back - NO ANSWER both times.

Has anyone else recieved these calls recently? Or has there been any follow up from the other reports?

And one at 8:25pm on 20/2/09/ Didn't answer in time, and number rang out when I tried redialling. Then found this site - now I know not to bother next time!
