Today I got it,she said called from softbank and she asked to Mr. Mohamad. Weired!! How can I know him? Who is Mr.Mohamad?

Same jerks who are using numbers like 052-497-347 and 052-480-1890 and 052-797-7777.  They can barely speak English but they try to come across as some sort of legal processors.  How stupid would anyone have to believe some BS like "there is a lawsuit filed against the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number."  What court in the world would accept a lawsuit against the last 4 digits of a Social Security Number?

These are hackers who have obtained the last 4 digits of a person's Social Security Number, and they cannot think of an intelligent way to profit from that information, so they run this idiotic attempt at a scam.

Called and asked to speak to someone (not me) and could barely understand him. Tried blocking but it is an international number. Will just keep hanging up or not answering.

i just got the same call today. 052-497-347 what kind of number is this.some werid language,saying i had to pay for some bad credit issue.

I had the same calls from that 052, then they continued to harrass my friends family. So I called the United states attorney's office. They gave me a web site to report them. I have to find it and put a post up, but I urge you to call your states attorneys office.

052-497-347 is the company who buys old collection accounts. They are over seas and will try just about everything to get your information. do Not give them anything. I told them to mail me proof of debt and they said they didnt have to. OH YES THEY DO!. I researched and it is a old medical bill from 1991. They say you are being sued. I said okay then I will get something in the mail. He said we will arrest me. I said Come on then!

I got calls from this number and other numbers, all internet scammers who got my information.  They harassed me at home and at work, and lied about being officers and said they were from The Federal department of Public Safety, the Bureau of Crime ID.  there is no such thing, and when I called to ask for a badge number, etc, they finally said they didn't have one.     KEEP A LOG OF ALL THESE CALLS, record if you can, if you can't, say that you are anyway.  I contacted The NY State Attorney General, my NY state senator, The federal trade Commission, The White House, The Better Business Bureau and even sent the numbers to the FBI, I know speak with a special agent.  I am not taking this!!!!!!  CC is right.if any of this were legitimate, you would receive something, in writing, in the mail....these guys threaten bodily harm, they threaten to take people's children away, etc......I wish the plague of what they say a thousand times on each of them!!!!!!!!!

My mother received a phone call today from a man with a thick East Indian accent asking for me.  She could hardly understand him, but she thought he said my last name, and he couldn't get my first name straight.  He said that she needed to tell me to call because I owed money to what she thought was Cash Finance Co. He also told her that I would get into a lot of trouble if I didn't call, and he was trying to help keep me out of trouble.  The number that he gave to return his call was (8130 756-4724, but the phone call logged the call as coming from 052-497-347.  I don't know what this person is thinking, but I do not have any debt with this supposed company. Plus it is weird that he called my mother's cell phone asking for me.  Some how he came up with my mother being "a reference."  There are only three businesses that I have listed my mother as a reference, and I know for a fact that this person is not associated with them and has no reason to be calling me..

you can report these annoying and harassing phone calls to the FCC. ESPECIALLY if they are making threats against you in any way. It is illegal...the guy actually was stupid enough to leave me a threatening message on my cell phone with a call back number which I saved. The call back number was a number within the US so that is the one I will report to the FCC.

BEWARE! This company is a scam. They call using the same people and different names. They will threaten to take you to court and jail and such. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!!!! Telling them to stop calling doesn’t work, they change what is apparently cell phones or call as UNKNOWN and use a different name. Sometimes they are Department of (whatever) and sometimes they are attorneys. They are lying. I get calls for a family member and they have actually demanded that I contact that person to have him call and give them his social security number. Most of the time the call is from a Eastern Indian man that must have multiple personalities as he is a different person EVERY time he calls. Best advice is to pick up the phone and immediately hang it up again. Don’t answer it. Don’t talk to them. Or better yet, answer and blow a whistle in their ear.

Got call from this number 052699799 , Indian female voice, spelling my name then pretending not hearing me

this was from 052-497-347.  2 calls back to back for karen karen from strong Indian accented male carl peters from ace cash.  i think as it was very difficult to tell thru accent.  received fri 3/3/11.  i did not take calls as it was such an odd number and the voicemail was deleted.

i just ignore this no.coz it is not on my contact list. but it keeps on calling me
