I was receiving unwanted faxes all of the time on a seperate number. Called 800 number to remove my number from their data base and started receiving calls from 062-221-0470. Coincidence ? Any one else have similar experience after calling to remove name from unsolicited faxes?

Just received a call on my cell phone from this number. I thought it was illegal for telemarkters to call cell phone numbers!

lower-interest-rate-on-credit-card idiots.  The last call I received like this was from a computer, and they said that the do not call registry didn't effect them.  Where's Bill Gates when you need him?

Prerecording message states there is nothing wrong with my credit card account but they need to reach me as soon as possible to lower my interest rate. Recording stated to press 1 to lower my rates. I pressed 1 and a lady answered by the name of "Lori". When she asked how she may help me I asked what company this is she hung up. I have gotten car warranty calls as well but I am pretty sure it was from a different number though.

Got the call this afternoon and waited for the live operator to pick-up.  He was a loud, obnoxious negro from the start.  When I asked for the name of his company, he said, "I guess we ain't gonna do business then," and then he let loose with a big belch into the phone.  I guess criminals need to work occasionally, too.

I received a call from 5-062-221-0470 on my house phone and again a few hours later on my cell phone.  I did not answer either time.  Judging by the number, I would guess that the number is from a foreign country.

Called about credit card services

These calls are getting really old!  I did some research and found out that this area code is Asian.  From the UN web page at   http://unstats.un.org/unsd/methods/m49/m49chang.htm  "062 South-Central Asia" and from   http://www.myanmars.net/myanmar/telephone-area-codes.htm  I identified "Shinmataung" as the precise area of origination.  I pray that someone can use this information to help stop these calls.

They didn't leave a message..I registered a complaint with NDNC they accepted the 062 area code.  I will not answer if they call again.  I found out the 062 area code is from the Dublin Ireland area.....

these as*es just called my house,for the third time i might add, first 2 i never picked up, 3rd time i listened,was saying something about my credit cards, lol, i dont have any, how funny is that, and when she told me she could see i was payin high rates, i laughed, told her she was a ***** scammer,and yes i got profanity from her back , i hung up,my service is supposed to block these calls, what r we paying for???

Yet another call from the scam artists.  This time the recorded message said it was "Heather from Account Services."  I didn't bother trying to talk to them to complain because I've tried many times before, and they always hang up on me.  I'm not sure how to file a complaint since the phone # isn't valid.  In fact, it actually came up as 05062-221-0470, according to my Earthlink phone account.  Not sure how that's possible.

Don't assume that the calls are coming from the number listed on your caller ID. There are computer programs and even services that provide the ability to show the call is coming from something than the actual number used.

I've complained about several numbers. All I get is that I don't provide enough information for action to be taken. Laws don't mean a thing unless they are enforced, and obviously, they aren't.

I am going to get a air horn for these telemarketer jerks!

and for the mail marketers, tear up there stuff & mail it back to them
(most have a free postage back to the company, let em use it)

keep calling and we don't answer.  Hangup on recorder.  When you hit redial, nothing happens.

Has anyone received a call from this number (646513)?  Can't redial, this is the only number you get.  They just keep hanging up on the recorder, because we don't answer.  We think it is a collection agency.
