I have received calls from this number several times.Usually every few days, just once a day. Normally morning or afternoon.

I keep getting calls from this number on my mobile and they're a pest. the ring then it hangs up. I keep thinking it's a friend of mine in Brisbane.

they kept calling for a few days but didnt leave a message, then i answered it and they hung up.... then i answered and they said they were from a charity group that needed to update my credit card details but i wouldnt give them over the phone, she even said i couldnt update them over email... and that she just needed the expiry of my X card when i had a different brand of card! i think its a total SCAM!!! trying to get details so they can rip us off!!!

I kept receiving missed calls from this no too. Finally today I managed to answer the phone. Said he was from the Cancer Council NSW. Said they were updating their database. Knew the dates I was a supporter and asked why I started supported them and what made me decide to stop supporting them. Didn't get asked for any financial or personal details though.

hey.. yes your right its the cancer council of NSW.. they are doing a check if old supports want to re-join.

To fix call 13 11 20 ask to be put through to donations.

Get them to remove you from their database.. or remain if you want to donate again.

I have passed on feedback to them that when we are getting calls there is no one at other end of line and no voicemails are left.

they will raise it as an issue.

I had missed many calls from this company but when they finally got through it was the most lovely conversation from a charity I support - the caller was so charming and delightful it really made up for the annoyance. I asked the guy - I think he was called Alfred - why he had called me so many times and he said that AAPT were messing up their lines and directly affecting the Lost dogs home's income as a result. So don't blame these lovely people who help so many charities - it is telecoms again. I can't tell you how annoyed I was at aapt calls from India - they are the true pests.

I also keep finding missed calls from this number I even recieved a text msg from them explaining that they missed me and would call back later. This was happening at least twice a week when I managed to answer there was noone there. When you ring the number all you get is a pre-recorded message saying that its a charity and they will call you later.

This is possibly the most annoying phone experience I have had and I suspected that it was some sort of scam. I took the above advice and contacted the cancer coucil and they had no idea what I was talking about.

go to scamwatch and seek help, google the number it shows they are scammers inform your phone provider

Just letting you all know i have been called from this number and it is a scam.  They are pretending to be a charity donation call centre but it is incorrect.  Their aim is to get different bits of information to then rip you off.  You should contact your phone provider to make sure you haven't been charged a subscription fee.  This has also been reported to the consumer watch dog "Scam Watch". There is no issue with phone lines as prevously stated above, you have obviously been taken for a ride or work for the scammers. Unfortunately you cant be removed from the list as it generates a number from a computer there is no actual database.
Dont answer the call and dont call it back you are being charged each time.

I received the same call on 21st April at 1:49 pm. On calling back I recieved the same automated message about the caller representing a charity and that they would call back at another time.

Call the DO NOT CALL register on 1300-792-958 and register your number. They will call you back to confirm your intentions. The process takes less than 2 mins.
You should stop receiving calls in about 30 days. Your number remains on this register for a period of 3 years.

The do not call register will not stop calls from charities, Christian or political groups.

Wow, what an indepth knowlege this guys claims to have. Unfortunetly, I work for the company, pareto phone and no, it is not a scam. Get your facts straight before making ridiculous unfounded claims.

I received a call from this number today. While I have missed a few calls from this company which can be annoying, I will say there customer service was outstanding. They helped me update all my details with a charity I currently support and were very friendly. I think he said the company is Pareto? More charities should use companies like this to help raise the funds they need!!!

This is the telemarketing company with that number that calls on behalf of charities. I emailed them to get removed from their list.
