Blocked number keeps calling haven't answered then a text saying to call CMA urgently with a reference number and a name Jonathan Lewis.  Did a google search and nothing comes up that makes even the slightest sense what it could be.

I guess, CMA is a debt collection agency in Brisbane.

We had the same thing, this morning at work. Indian / Asian sounding male voice asking for myself. My colleague answered the phone and they demanded that they would only speak to me personally. Funny thing is that our company is on the Telephone Preference Service. Again it was a caller who said they were CMA (Telephone  No: 073620 7577)

Scam, try to steal personal information.

Just had a call supposedly from 'Chartered Mercantile' about a business matter, but required me to provide personal information for 'security reasons'.  I asked for the business number and was given 0736207577.  I asked for the ABN and was given nothing - must be a scam - I don't know any legitimate company these days that would ring then ask for personal info for 'security reasons'
