Is this fax to email number a scam or can it be linked to a ligitimate business

Hi Johan, did you also receive an email from this number? I just received an email an hour ago and decided to check the number on the internet to tract down the company but so far nothing. They said in the email that the company is called Resource Consulting Services(RCS).  Would love to hear from you what you may have found out as this reeks of a scam to me.

I get alot of emails telling me to fax my CV.  I mean why Fax in the first place if they can just ask us to attach to an emai.

I have alot of doubt about these weired emails.

I think this is a scam. My advise to you is not to lose hope. Any Recruitment agency who's asking all documents at the first place IS A SCAM. We're not in 80s

Please see below e-mail I received today :

Dear xxxx,

We have learned, through a partner company, that you are currently job-hunting.

Our company is a dynamic player in the human resource sector, and therefore we would like to offer our expertise to you.

If you are interested in us assisting you in your search for better job prospects, please contact us as soon as possible with your details, in order to enable us to help you.

We will need the following from you:

A recently updated CV, together with a recent photo of yourself, as well as all available supporting documents such as reference letters and proof of education.

(For security reasons do not submit any ID documents or ID numbers at this stage.)

Please also include a short motivational and introduction letter, stating the position you are seeking as well as the area and expected salary.

Please also mention available date.

Please send all of the above to fax: 0862259275

After receiving the above mentioned documentation, we will process your information and contact you as soon as we have something that will suit your specific needs.

I received the same email as Jeremy. I hope these scamsters realise that there are many people
out there desperate for find jobs and giving them false hope is cruel.

I also got the same message in the week, thought it would great to get a job. Now I find out its a scam

im so hurt right now, im desperately looking for a job & this is what i find out WTF, people can be so cruel.
what i dont understand is what do they get from all of this ?

I think people have taken taking advantage to a new level.The thing that got me suspicious is the photo why do they need a photo of me i am not looking to be a model i am looking for a job.

Yes, I think they are looking to commit Identity Fraud.  Wish there was some way in which to catch them out and get them caught!!!  I am so sick & tired of winning the lottery 4 times a week, having billionnaire family members leave me big inheretances, business propositions from total strangers etc.  What is the world coming to?  And how stupid to these morons think we are???????
