This number has been calling me for days when i call back its busy

These guys are absolute utter prankers!

Sick of getting up to a dozen prank calls a week from them where they just hang up.
Cheap-[***] telemarketer with an autodialler and not enough staff to answer when connected.

I now have Telstra tracing the calls from them to me.

THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN!

Call Telstra on 1800 805 996 and register TGA as a nuisance caller.

I get calls from this number 08 6228 4009 at least once a day for about 3 weeks. I don't get it. Who are they and what do they want?

This number has been ringing my phone for the last 3 days and hangs up after 3 rings.  Please block this number if possible

I dont want these calls.

I do not want these calls from this number to continue.....always inconvenient and intrusive!

Rang 3 times today answer they hang up

This number continuously calls our Office and hangs up. It is very annoying and time wasting.
Is there any-way to block this number?

Constant calls no one answers. Dodgy.

Its unlikely you can block this number from calling cos its Telstra  telemarketers
Add the number to your contact list and call it PEST. It will be a reminder not to answer.
alternatively if you have an i phone look in the ifo for the number on your recent calls list.
There is an option to block this number

If you have a i-phone and you want to stop getting calls from this number:

1. go to your recent call list
2. click on the info icon scroll down and press "block this caller"
3. done!

I normally don't answer this number because there is no-one there. Today, not realising it was this number calling I answered. A woman advised she was calling on behalf of Telstra to see if I am happy with my account. Um, yes...OK. Then she asked if I was receiving unsolicited calls from other phone companies. I advised her that THIS CALL was unsolicited. After a few seconds of silence she hung up.

Follow up call to TSA Group on 08 93274098 to let them know that their calls are really annoying. According to Daytona (who answered the phone) they are supplied our numbers by Telstra. I have given her my number/s and she has guaranteed that I won't receive any more of their calls and IF I DO to let her know. I think everyone could do this and they may get the message.

Been receiving calls from this number but there is no one on the other end! 3 or 4 times everyday, it is driving me bonkers!!!

Started getting this on my mobile last week. So far only when I have been out of range so no marketing rubbish to endure. I have now added the number to my blocked call list in my phone.

I have had repeated problems with unwelcome calls from 0862284009 to my business mobile phone number, going back over a year. It happens for a few weeks then stops and starts again months later. It started again this week.

Today I rang the Telstra Unwelcome Calls Centre 1800 805 996 the bloke I spoke with couldn't help so he gave me another Telstra complaints number 1800 068 144. But it turned out they only handle residential complaints. The lady spoke with the Business Department and relayed their advice that they could not do anything about it. Not even put a block on the number calling.

I then rang the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO) they took my details. TIO did not want to know the number that was calling. TIO said they would refer it to Telstra for handling under the "Unwelcome Calls Procedure" where Telstra will monitor my phone number for 24 hours. Apparently if you get an unwelcome call three times or more in 24 hours it can qualify as an "Unwelcome Call". Telstra is then supposed to write to the company to get them to stop. Neither TIO nor Telstra will let you know the name or location of the company but they will share your details with the company.

I told the TIO and the Telstra people I spoke with today that this number 0862284009  has been the source of repeated complaints online for over two years according to a search on Google. And yet nothing seems to get done to stop them stalking and harrassing people.

I installed Avast mobile security then added the number to blocked calls and SMS. Now i don't get any annoying calls. I check history in Avast and there have been 20+ blocked calls that never got through. Hope this helps everyone.
