    The caller told me he was from the Help Desk for Microsoft and they were aware I kept getting an Error Message (which I do quite frequently) He said it was because I had a virus and he was going to phone back and talk me through downloading something or other.

    Is this a con?

    The caller said his name was Harry Decosta and that there is a bad virus going around at the moment and they had recognized it on my computer.He talked me thru conecting to remote access where a guy called shane steve managed to download a copy of IObit...thru www.MajorGeeks.com.Turns out to be an antivirs_registry_ cleaner- then they want $150 per year from you......very convincing...until i thought...how come an Indian speaking man has a name like Harry Decosta so i started doing some reserch and have ended up here...careful everyone!!!!!
