The lady by the name of Zinhle called me today she has my date of birth and postal adress with her, she told me FNB bank is giving away vouchers. when i tried to call back the phone is engaged. i then  called FNB and they dont know anything like that.

Had a same issue a lady called me with this number 0872338975, first thing she asked was " Did i receive my free vouchers worth R19000?", I said no. She had my full names, physical address, ID number and my Banking details. I then asked her which company she was calling from she said VBank. she went on about how ill benefit from these and ill pay only R99 for the first month then later on pay R299. I asked her where she got my details from and how come i won this voucher? her answer was that im a good consumer and that they obtain my details from The National Consumer, as soon as i told her that I never signed up for this or registered she hangup the phone.  

Is this a scam or what. Same lady called me. With my details

A lady called Zinhle called me with this 087 number, telling me she got my details from FNB and they have sent me a card and vouchers for my family for emergency services and legal assistance, my phone's battery was low we couldn't continue when I tried calling the number, it was engaged. this person has my private details and says she got them from my bank, this freaks me out. I called FNB and know nothing about this.

I also received the call from the same lady saying the same thing. She had all my personal details, when I asked her questions she could not answer she just hung up. I called my bank, and they know nothing about this card and vouchers and have NOT given my personal details to anyone. I tried to call her back and the number is always busy.
I pray to God they will not be debiting anything from my bank account. This is very concerning. It's very fishy and I think it's a SCAM! If anyone has any info about these people, please share...

I got the call from the same number who had my residential address and my full name, but when I tried to trace the number by calling, I can't get hold of them, it is always busy. I think this is a scam

The same lady (Zinhle) called me last month and today a guy called me. last month R299.00 was debited from my account and I went to the bank to reverse the money( luckily I did manage to reverse my money back to my acc). FNB gave me Ref no: and contact details to call and ask why are they debiting my money. they told me that I agreed to activate my voucher and they have it on record as they record every phone call. OK! then I ask for them to send information about their company Couse I don't understand how it works, their response was they don't provide info about their company until I have paid the activation fee and I have received my card. I TOLD THEM I DONT WANT THEIR CARD AND THEY SHOULD JUST DELETE MY DETAILS, and then they told me ok will send u a massage with a website address. I think this is a SCAM. The thing that bothers me is that where did they get my information?

I got a call from a lady using these numbers any advise what should I do cause I told her to call me tomorrow?

I got the call this number they have my details,the lady called me and ask me if I got my 19000 voucher card and told me they ll activate the card after I got I,I ask her about the company info then she said she ll sms me an sms with the company link,I told her not to activate that card before I have an info on them,she said she ll me and told me to read and call them before 27 days,but she never send the sms

Got a call from a guy that was speaking so fast about activating a card that would allow me to get discounts.  Found it suspicious. I am worried about money being debited  from my account.

Eish same thing has happened to me just now. the number is angaged now. Something is suspicious about this. im gonna kill that [***] if she touches my money.

i just received the same and they have all my details i jus wonder how they r gettin these if i dd not give them & the bank dd not give them who did then bkoz i surely do not splash my account number anywhere... m worried for years

Same story as all of you hopefully nothing will happen to my account let alone that my credit profile.

OMG! Just got a call  from the  same lady she s got  all my  details
My FNB acc number residential  adress ID number she was talking so fast
Said something abt discount vouchers ,  i m so worried right now She said she was calling from Internatinal express
I ve tried looking the company up   looks like the company does not exist   , i m so worried

aish also got the same call n they know my details bt my question is Why is it easy  fot them to know if im FNB cz i had this acc. 6 yrs back and m not using it since,as well as the address im no longer using it,as for my surname they  know maiden one not marriage m using now of which makes me think these pple they only have access to scam fnb card holders mostly as i see most of the posted stories are pple who have fnb acc but how?

I RECEIVED A CALL FROM 0872338975 THEY TELL ME ABOUT THE CARD THAT IT HAVE R19200 SO GUYS I DONT KNOW THIS THING IS TRUE OR NOT HELP PLEASE

I know this is not funny but i just can't help it lol.
How on Earth are they getting our Confidential information, even you personal address?
The very first she asked me was "Did you receive you Card"? Can't recall the name of a card and Company
and i was like Neh, i was like "can you please cancel whatever card your company is offering me cause i have no interest on it" and she was like.....NO, You can't just cancel it then she Hang-Up! What that heck. Tell me of any company which won't allow you to cancel any sign up if you did ever sign up!

My advice to everyone, change your card if possible because if they have you confidential information they might just use it for worse in future

Thanks guys!! u knw i rely so much on these blogs from the internet for alerting me about ongoing scam phone calls, thank god i didnt answer the call, it ended up being a missed call instead. Information is crucial for these schemers, though its hard not to believe someone with your  exact details. Probably an inside contact from FNB releasing such information, u need a virus to fish this from the internet via FNB's website
