i was offered a pa package for blackberry that would be added to my cell c bill, they seemed to have my details already.. not sure what scam this is , but im pretty sure it is one because i called back the number and it doesnt exist..cell c also knows nothing about this package , theyve never heard of it

a call concerning the membership on Absa

I got a call from this number offering me a membership on absa rewards so I'm confused whether they legitimate or they some kink of fraud schems so please help out

Dont worry  i received the same phone call saying that ABSA is updating all of their memebers accounts for a fee of R21 pm and while this dud was talking to me it sounded like he was in a car busy driving and the line was very bad and once he explained everything he confirmed my address which wasnt even my address

I never answer numbers that is unkmown to me but this nr keeps on giving me miss calls! And when you phone to that number it is engaged. This is a scam. I am sure of is. Then he is phoning on behalf of ABSA and then Cell C. I don't trust this at all. Just like to know who is phoning.

This number is officially a number now registered as someone attempting to steal your personal data. Identity theft in South Africa is on the rise, so DO NOT ANSWER or give out your information at all to anyone that calls from 087 350 1518.

Do what I have now done and attach a recording device to your phone to record their voice and the conversation when they call back.

Social Media is a powerful tool and this idiot is going to be exposed next time they try call me.

The persons name is Rory Da Costa that is calling, which is the only information that I got out of him, other than that he is calling from Cape Town.

Off-cause you cannot call back an outbound call center number, the number is legit, offered to contact centers. The number offers the ABSA REWARDS, and CELL C get it  If you wish to find out the lgitimacy dial 086 178 88 88 foir ABSA REWARDS and 084 11GETIT

You bunch of incompetent idiots, that is a call center number meant only for outgoing calls. Its a company calling on behalf of Absa Rewards and also Cell C Get It. They dont ask you for any of your full information and the last for numbers of your account is useless, they cant rob you with it you idiots. Do your research first, before you ruin other peoples jobs.

Not the first time he called.
It was also on an Friday afternoon.
I did not give ABSA permission to do telephone advertising

Cell C can call me from their call centre number if they want me to know it is them. And if it is ABSA, well, they can have the decency to leave a message.

This number has left me numerous missed calls over the past few weeks. Learn some telephone etiquette and make sure that I know who is looking for me and why if you are not going to be available for me to phone back.
