Got a call from this number wanting HR department to confirm employment.  Then they asked for me and when I confirmed speaking, wanted someone to verify me.  Later again phoned HR department and gave my identity number to confirm my employment.  One wonders where they obtain all this information from iif they are looking for you and when they find you do nothing .....

Register your details at the above link ~ really helps a lot!  And, if someone does call you that shouldn't, refer to the "National Opt Out Database".  They are supposed to check their lists against this before cold calling...they will soon give up and leave you alone. ;P

Just a call from this number also. some lady claiming to call from the Dept of Labour. wanted to know if i was still working at my previous work. scary thing is these ppl had all my info including current address, and ID number. tried calling the number back it just rings unanswered

today 27/06/2013, received a call from this number they told they are working with MTN and they have picked up mu number have won a price  so they need some information before they deliver, I TOLD HER THAT I WILL PHONE mtn AND CONFIRM AND SHE JUST HANGED UP

10/07/2013 I also got a call from this number and the lady said she wanted my work numbers , she wanted to confirm employment . These things are scary because there is lot of fraud going around and if she really wanted to confirm employment why would she be phoning my cell numbers. This call does not sound okay to me .

i also got a call from this number and they wanted to confirm employment, funny part they say they are calling from dept of labour and my question is, what are they going to do with my details. this number should be investigated.

these people are doing fruad serioussly, cause to me they started by saying i was pre-approved for a loan and i told them i do not want loan and they wanted to confirm my employment after that. still i asked them why?

i hang up the phone and they call again pretending to be from department of labour, i told them i am not going confirm anything with them.

Hey worried people, i know who has been calling you, what has happened to you since you received the call from this number?  Nothing! You are just a bunch of debtors who do not want to pay for the things that they want, well tough then. Because you are going to get those calls until you pay off your debts. Be nice and give info because they are going to trace you anyway and they will find you. Why take things with instalment whilst you know you cant pay.

I think some of the callers should be ashamed of themselves!  Any caller saying they are calling from UIF, FBi, SAPS, SAP, Romans Pizza, CIPC, Dep Edu, Sweets from Heaven, Clicks, Any Couriers Service, Absa, FNB, Won a prize, Ster Kinikor, Blacberry, A School, Amazon, India, Pakistan, CSIR, Coca Cola, Morkels, Transnet, Media 24, Funeral Parlou, Sasol, SAB, Tekkie Town, WRHI, KFC, etc, etc, etc ARE LYING! They are a thousand callers on a system tracing debtors all over the country and they are working for them self on the same system tracing debtor's for a bigger law firm that deals with the debtor once a successful trace are done.

I called the number the lady gave me for more information about this account and it is Coombe & Associates.  This 087 number is the call centre number where the tracers are working.  Call 0861266623 to see why they are looking for you and stop guessing who they are, it took me 1 call and I live to tell the story.
