What the heck has happened lately that this has exploded on the scene?

Called my place today... some Asian guy my mom couldn't understand... something about selling computer insurance or something.

Called Jan 28/12. Heavy foreign accent, asked if I was having computer or connection problems. When I said no, he actually said thank you and hung up! Usually they are rude and persistent and try to hack the computer remotely.

Got a call from this number...when will the scammers ever give up???

Just called - no noise from the end of the line after I had picked up.

he call me today the 16/02/2012 at 2h49 and ask if i want him to come and kill me, i report this to the police. The police are investigating on that. i also receive one 3 days ago and he just says hello for about 10 second
