This East Indian caller was attemting to get information about my computer before I hung up on him.

Same here.  They say they are working with cyber security for my computer. Hang up!  It's a bunch of scamming crooks, phishing for info for identity theft.

We have received several calls like these over the past few months.

I got a call from this number saying they were with cyber security and wanted me to turn my computer over to them as I was having problems. I told them they wanted me to turn my computer over to them so they can rob my information and they said yes. I hung up.

Got a call from someone saying they were from cyber security. Said I was having trouble with my computer and wanted me to turn it over to them. Did not recognize the number of 1-800-007-1097

Thursday 11/21/13 @ 11:30 a.m. PST:  I just received a call from this phone number 800-007-1097 (showed up as Name Unavailable on caller ID and I did not recognize the #) telling me that they were with Cyber Security . . . They could see that we were having problems with our Windows program.  "Go ahead and turn on your computer now."  I asked which computer.  She said, "It doesn't matter . . . It concerns Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, etc."  My response then was, "How do you know that I am having problems with my computer if you can't tell me which computer?"  Her response, "You people are dumbo!" and SHE hung up on ME!!!

They keep calling.  I've had earlier calls from the East Indians and told them I don't own any computers.  Now I am getting multiple calls but no one at the other end.  Probably just as well as I might get ruder and ruder to the point of losing it.

Called with no one talking when I kept saying hello a male votive said f@&$ you moyher fu@&$& then hung up. Caller ID showed 1000071097 as the caller phone number.

"unknown number" on the caller ID.  Showed  1000071097 as well, but not as a hyphenated phone number.  If it is a phone number, it's just another in a long list of spoofed numbers.   Oregon also.

These people called us at 6:30 this morning waking us up.  Sounded like someone from Middle East. They wanted us to turn on our computer as they said we had viruses that will affect everyone I e:mail.  Bull [***], and we know it.  Always aware of these stupid scams and they better not call again.  Husband just told them, "do you know what time it is"? "you woke us up" and hung up.  We won't be answering these calls anymore.  

I got a call from some guy who sounded foreign at 6:05am. I told him if you don't get the f@#$ off my phone this early in the morning, stupid [***] [***]. Telling me some shiznit about my damn computer.....REALLY!

I've had  these calls the past two days,always around 6:15am. I ignored the calls and checked caller id today. I figured it was a scam and decided to check online to see what others are saying.
