It's currently about 8:20 a.m. in my area... They just called here, said they were from "Microsoft", and they were "calling about your computer". The person had a middle eastern accent, and it sounded like they were calling from a call center... The signal kept cutting in and out though.

They hung up pretty darn fast when Husband said he "didn't own a computer". The scammers are back, folks... They took a break for the holidays and have started up again.

8:45 in the morning I got a call telling that I had a credit of 400 dollars, I told the guy this is BS and I was going to trace the call, they hung up very fast.

I just got a call at 6:30 am from 103-572-8354 but did not answer and there was no message left.  I saw that someone mentioned the name Microsoft associated with this number, I just wish they would stop calling, we all know it's a scam and they keep on calling and calling al the time.  The call so early in the morning was a first, maybe it's their new tactic...

Just got a call, it's 11:00 a.m., January 18, 2016....from a mid-eastern accent speaking fellow named "Mark" and he said he was from Windows!  I have not rec'd calls from these scammers for a couple years...and yes, THEY ARE BACK.  I told him to get lost and hung up.

Received a call on Jan 18, 2016 from this number from a fellow mentioning he's from Microsoft. Just hang up

Received a call from the above number early this morning.  As is my usual practice when I receive an unsolicited telephone call, I waited about 30 seconds.  Then a middle-eastern sounding voice came on the line and said he represented Microsoft and that there was something wrong with my computer.  I told him where to go (guess where)?  Then I hung up on him.

Gasp weez ahhhhh, I didn't know who they were, they said they were Microsoft but they have no other service.

They said they are calling from Micro Soft company,strange thing that they know my name and address ,they introduce them self for fixing computer risk ! Believe me they accent is like Indian or Pakistani . This is scam call , they will take ur card details in the name of marketing !! [***]

I just received a call from 103-572-8354 , April 7, 2016 at 7:20 am, pretending they are from Microsoft. I notice immediately that was a scam because Microsoft never call, if somebody will call is the provider that you have for internet(Bell, Rogers or another company with whom provide you internet access). I received already so many scam calls from Revenue Canada or bank asking for personal information. The person has Indian or Pakistani accent.

Thank for the notes that you write. I just received a call today April 7, 2016 at 7:20am same people probably because was the same accent and pretending they are from Microsoft.

I just said, I don't understand I don't speak a lot english ;0). (i think , now, the added my phone number on their black list?)

This HACKER has hacked my mothers computer.  He somehow got access to her PC and then called my mother on her landline phone.  When he asked for her bank account details, she decided to call me first while he was still on the other line.  Immediately I knew it was a hacker and told her NOT to give any details and told her to tell him to ring me on my cell (caller ID are wonderful on mobiles).  I tell her to turn her PC on and make sure its working OK and in the meantime the guy calls me.  Yes, he had an indian accent (well that's what it sounded like to me).  He said he wasn't from Microsoft like my mum had said but that he was from Windows and that there was a massive case of hackers happening right at the moment from Indonesia.  He said they were simply asking for NZ $15 to stop the hacking of her PC any further.  Long story short, BEWARE PEOPLE!!

Asian lady who said she was from Microsoft.  I left her on  hold till she hung up

August 21, 2016 - called from 103-572-8354, they said they were from Microsoft they even gave me some # which was supposed to be my registration# however it was not. They said our network has been compromised and we needed to get behind our computer and do as they instructed. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO. It's a scam!

It's also a spoofed number as telephone area codes (and exchanges) do not start with a 0 or 1.
