- treashor| 1 replyaggravated calls from 1047600000
- Kapoo| 1 replyJust recently go t the new Sony Ericcson Equinox. Got that n:m=1=3 too. And yeah, the texts would start at 3:00 A.M.,6:00 A.M.,9:00 A.M., and maybe again around 12:00 noon. Been dealing with this for about two weeks. Then I did what someone else suggested earlier: shut the phone off completely, and wait for about a minute before taking the battery out. Then wait another minute before putting the battery back in. No more texts. I only had to do it once, and I did it on a Sunday. I don't know if that makes a difference or not, but it would not surprise me if you have to take the batteries out a couple of times before it will work for you,but try it anyway. Hopefully, only taking the battery out once will solve the problem for you.
- KapooOy Vey! Thought I had the problem solved when I took the battery out,but that didn't work after all. In the mean time, I wrote to customer service, which is in New Mexico. What does that tell you right there, huh? Anyway,I'm a T-Mobile user and if you are too, hopefully some of you if not all can get your problem resolved with the following info.
Here is the response to my inquiry about said number/text:
"Upon review of your account, our records reflect that these messages that are being received are actually Yahoo Alerts and Yahoo Instant Messages. You may want to sign into your Yahoo account to have these Alerts and Instant Messages removed or unchecked. We have also added an Instant Messaging Block feature. This provides the ability to block all chargeable Instant Messages. This does NOT block the following:
Free system generated messages(Amber Alerts or free messages from content providers).
Instant Messages sent or received to or from BlackBerry or Sidekick devices.
Internet initiated Instant Messages sent to or from an e-mail address or phone number.
Our customer care department is available to assist you from 3 a.m. to 10 p.m. PST at 800-937-8997. - KapooOkay, here's how I FINALLY got the text to stop appearing on my phone. If you are a T-Mobile user, call 611 the free customer service department. Ask automatically to speak to a representative. Give them the number and the time frames you get the calls, and if this is a new phone you switched over to,let them know that immediately. The story they gave me is something to the effect of my new phone trying to give me an alert of an e-mail and its not set up to do so,so that's all it does instead. I only have talk and text, not web as part of my plan, so that makes sense. Now if you're not under T-Mobile,don't fret. Just call whatever the free customer service number is for your plan and follow my lead. They told me the text would stop within 24 hours, and actually it stopped that night right after I made the call to customer service. Truly I hope this works for you because it was driving me nuts when it would go off at 2:00 a.m.!
- xpwnerlol| 1 replyI get a text from +047-600-000, everyday ever since the tower went down a while back. I don't understand why I get them. The message says 6e3a6d3d31d320a0a. I've called the number back tons of times and it always says something like this "we're sorry but the number you have called has you blocked, goodbye." I want to call T-Mobile but seeing that some people have called and T-Mobile has done nothing I am not sure what to do.
- K!@ replies to xpwnerlolAll that yhu have to do is call T-Mobile and ask for tech support. Ask them to remove all email notificatons from your phone. I was experiencing the same difficulties and it seemed as if I had a problem and no one could help!! It was soo aggravting. But I now have the problem resolved. If you are still experiencing difficulties afterwards, feel free to contact me on michaeljosephjacksonofficialsite.webs.com. Join and add me (username:mikejosephjackson7), and I will try to further assist you. (I check my msgs daily.)
