Called my home# on numerous occassions. Finally answered today. Guy with a thick India accent stating that they sent me emails to my "windows mailbox" and I needed to check it because every time I get on the internet, it sends them error messages from my IP address.  Wanted me to press the "Windows" button and "R" at the same time and type in some weird letters(=pnv....). Apparently is some scam to let them get control of your computer.  When asked what the exact error messages were and when I told him I was going to call the IT dept at my job, they hung up immediately.  They called back 2 min later but hung up again before saying anything.

Hehehehehe....stupid douches. Got the call from them and Marge kept them on the phone for a while and then blasted the old hockey whistle three times into the phone. Then she asked, "How do you like that?"

They just have a computer that says goodbye

This number calls several times a day, nothing is ever said except a mechanical voice saying good-bye. Starting to piss me off!

Beware of these people with Indian accents pretending to be Microsoft tech support! They want you to help them login to your system remotely to fix viruses that will "crash your computer within ten minutes." They insist they are legitimate, by giving you some random computer code that they can prove is somewhere in your system. They just called my office - a dental practice with several thousand patient records in the system. Thankfully, I didn't fall for the scam - when I asked for a direct line for our IT person (who does not exist) to reach them, they hung up.
