I get calls from this number every week, sometimes even 5 times a day. sometimes in the morning, sometimes in the evening. I picked it up once and there was silence-- Computer waiting to connect me to the next available telemarketer, perhaps?

This number keeps calling us but we have not managed to answer. No message is left - except silence. I tried calling it back and got "the number you have called is busy".

Called me, showing country code 44, which is the UK. Nothing on caller ID, and the message was simply silence, but I could hear voices in the background.

called me two times but only silence. and I don't even have a UK phone.

I'm working in a company in Spain, this number called several times a day, but there is no answer, I searched in the web and I found a finnish page that I think said if you call this number it'll cost 10 euro per minut, so DONT CALL BACK.

I was going to call this number back to see who it was, but then I read that it is a scam where you pay ten Euros per minute, so I will get the number blocked.

i live in the US and recieved a call from this number.. it was the first i've noticed so far.. i picked up and they started asking about some newspapers or papers or something like that?  i'm not sure.. maybe i heard incorrectly.. either way, when i asked them to repeat themselves they hung up.. so i dunno..

Got a call from this number today to Iceland. I did not answer.

I get a call once a day, almost everyday from this number (I live in the US). A recorded message says that they are calling to offer a lower interest rate on my credit card, and then it says to press 1 to speak to a live operator. I've talked to a live person twice, and as soon as I tell them to never call my home again, they hang up on me. It's very annoying and invasive.

Just got a call from that number - I live in Denmark.

It had +44 so I guess the UK.

The person didn't say anything and hung up after a few seconds.

My fiance just got a call from that number about an hour ago - we're Danish, too. We have UK friends and were about to call back - so thanks for the warnings!

I live in Madrid, Spain and I also have received missed phone calls from this number, including today, Saturday. It's great that there is a system on the internet like this for checking out if numbers that call you are suspicious or not. Thanks!

A man has called twice. He phoned both times on my wifes mobile phone. His prefix was also 44. The strange thing (which disturbs me) is that in the second telephone call he specifically asked for me, with my first name. How has he got the information to phone my wifes number and asking for me with name?

I live in Bosnia, and got a call. My mom answered and someone was looking for me by name (trying to pronounce my last name and not knowing how to read it. I was wondering who called me, so thanks for warnings. But the question remains how did they get my info...

Same for me in Belgium. Is it possible they have information's stolen from Monster or ?

I have received a call from this number 2/3 times a day for weeks now.. called back after the first time, but it sounded rather suspicious. It leaves msg on my answering machine with mostly just noise. However, today it said "...in Paris in the 1920's, I thought it was just a fictional thing, but it actually does exist..". Whatever that means.. Annoying people.

I just got a call from this number, didn't answer as i didn't recognize it, and did a google search of it instead, which fortunately brought me to this site.  Now I am forewarned.  I am in New York.
