A man calls and says he is from a law office and has a warrant for your arrest due to tax evasion and writing bad checks and fraud. He then asks about your bank. When you refuse to give him any information he changes his tone of voice to try to intimidate. When told that the call was being traced he first said he was in florida and that is where the incident Im being accused of happened. Ive never been to florida. He then says he didn't say florida he said new york. He refuses to give the name of the law firm and you can hear children in the background yelling. All the while he is trying to get you to "confirm" the social security number he says he has but you need to confirm it so he won;t tell you what he has for a number.

This man called my work and said he liked my voice. Then he siad he could see me and I looked so beautiful. I called security over my walkie immediately, and he got mad when I put the security guy on the phone. He hung up and called back. Then he asked why I put somone else on the phone. I just hung up after that.

I received 2 voice messages from this number on my work from Austin Taylor. He said he was fro DCA Law Firm and that I was to show up for court todady (8/22/11) with my attorney of record. Or he would not be responsible want happens to me. The phone number he left for me to call back on was 646-543-0261. I called the number to see what the name of the company was and the man that answered the phone stated the company name was DCA Law Firm. This is a scam, as I didn't talk to anyone there, I am assuming that it is about a payday loan I owe. Which is a bunch of hog wash. As I paid off all my payday loans that I had last year. I have been getting these types of calls for months. The only way any can get them stopped is to contact the Federal Trade Commission and report them. I called the FBI and they referred me to the Federal Trade Commission as they don't handle phone fraud calls anymore. I have lost over $2,000 to these scammers. As they use threats, extortion and make you feel like a criminal when actually they are the criminals.

Yeah I just got the call again from these guys. I got a call from Ron about 9 months ago and ignored it. This time they were nicer up front and gave me a lot of information that the first call did not contain. So I entertained the idea and did some research. I am and R&D Engineer so my whole job is research and the findings are as follows. DO NOT PAY THEM! They cannot give you a time frame for when money was "drafted from your account and could not be paid". They cannot provide any solid information. I pulled up my bank statements for the entire year of 2010 and not once were they any bounced check charges or any checks made an attempt to clear. He tried to feed me a line that if a check is only ran once against your account that the bank does not charge a bounced check fee. Chase does not agree with this information and said any check that is ran against your account is charged a 35 dollar fee for insufficient funds every time it is ran and if it is ran more than 3 times they put a stop hold on it and contact you and submit the case to their fraud department. When confronted with these things and that I had my statements in front of me the caller on the other line got louder and more aggressive. I asked when the court date was scheduled and he said around 11 am tomorrow. I asked what court so I could be present for it and he said it is not an approved case yet this is an adjudication case to determine on if I can be held for charges in my state of record and if it is approved then I would be contacted with the time and date to appear in a court of law. So I said well let me know when the real court date occurs sir and I will be there with my bank statements happy to talk to the judge. To which he started back talking about paying him 550.34 to settle the case. I said have a good day sir I will see you in court. Hope this information is helpful.

He called my job NONSTOP today making disgusting sexual comments to all of us. Called so much we had to call the cops. It was literally one call after another. It was SICK. Said he was from India, visiting Fort Worth for his job, and even gave us an address which we could find, but found one VERY similar to it. The location was not far from our office at all! Just very creepy and gross!

I received this call last night from a man named Brad Miller with the heavy accent. He told me that he was from The Department of consumer affairs and had a case that is going to be filed against me said I would be charged and convicted for three different fraud charges unless I wanted to pay him the 720.00 dollars owed to the company he was representing Global Credit Services. When I asked what the debt was for he stated it was a payday loan I had taken out. He was able to tell me my email address, the last four numbers of my social, the last four numbers of my checking account, the name of my bank, my old address, my mother's name, my father's name and the name of the company I work for. When I asked the date of this supposed transaction he said he could not give me anymore information and that it would be in the court documents once the case was brought in front of the judge. After arguing with this man for about 30 minutes that I had never taken out a payday loan on this account and telling him to take me to court I would have my lawyer look over the documents once we received them he finally said  if you change your mind and want to settle out of court here is my number 646-533-5172 then he said good bye and god be with me. He called me again this morning to tell me that it was a courtesy call to let me know that he would be calling my employer to make them aware of the charges against me and that my mother and father would be sent the court documents also. I informed him that as soon as I had gotten off the phone with him the previous day I called my bank and they investigated it and stated that there has never been any electronic fund transfers from any pay day lender ever on my account  he stated the name of my bank again and said you called them I said yes I did and so you'll have to take me to court because I have proof that I didn't take out that loan and so I will make sure I have my lawyer ready and I'll see him in court. I'm glad my friend entered in the number he's been calling me from on google and found this site I feel better now.
