new microsft scam number

I did not answer this call but they are busy in the Fredericton, New Brunswick area.  Glad to know who called.

They keep calling here (N.S.) even after being told to remove us from their calling list

The number came up on 2 line.  First line was V10820100800021
Then underneath it was the rest of the number.  Didn't answer and no message was left.

Got a call from this number twice. Yelling at me saying I order medication from them and so on.....creepers.

Did not talk to anyone just picked up phone and hung up! Had a young grandson sleeping!

In New Brunswick, caller said their engineers were working on a serious problem with my computer

In PEI - this number was preceded by V11503303500025 the person said he was calling from Microsoft because they had been receiving error messages from my computer. So I listened until he asked me to go to my computer and he would help me resolve the problem, I told him not to bother and not insult my intelligence with this. He didn't really understand what I said and asked if he could call back, I said no and put the phone down.

Was about to let it ring but thought what the hell. I feel like hearing the latest gig...
(Thick African accent woman): "Hello sir (named my last name), this is Sharon, and we've been receiving 3 different error messages from Microsoft about your PC activity."
To which I replied: well, if they knew about it, they would have fixed it by now and I haven't even used my PC in forever, so doubt it."
....she hung up

yeh they called yesterday and twice this morning after I hung up once...same thing.

Scam

I just got a call from this number, stating that they were from Microsoft Computers.  I of course started laughing and told them I didn't have a computer.. He said Mam, you don't understand, I am calling from Microsoft, not your computer.  So I reiterated " You are calling from Microsoft Computers"?  He then told me I had a hearing problem and hung up on me.

Scam artists used to at least be polite with their nuisance..  Sigh!  

Three calls so far this morning.  Two men and one woman.  Rather entertaining response when you ask them about their marital habits.  

Standard fake Microsoft computer scam.  Female voice started speaking in a completely foreign language then switched to English, sort of.  Caller ID showed V12101204500024

My son just picked up the phone from that number. Wish I was home. I love toying with them. Said they'd call back in 10 minutes. Odd they asked for me by name. Also in Calgary.

I have been getting a call from this number at least 3 times a week for the past month.  Thick accented man saying he's from Microsoft. I told the guy I had an Apple computer and he said "Oh yes, my mistake this is Apple Company calling". I laughed and hung up. When my husband is home he holds the phone extremely close to his mouth and screams "AHHHHHHHHHH!" really loudly.   Toying with these scammers is like a game to me, I love wasting there time.

Called today, stated issues with my computer. Told him he didn't know what he was talking about. he got agitated with me, demanding I go to my computer. My response....." you must be tired?", Caller :"excuse me ma'am?" Me: "Of not having a real job, this is a SCAM and an old one at that, you should be ashamed this is how you make your money" He cursed at me and threatened to call the cops on me, I told him by all means I will wait on hold while you do and you can explain your position to them. He hung up lol

The old "Windows Computer" company scam. This time, after I strung them along for about five minutes (I get a sadistic pleasure in taking up their time) when I did call him out on his scam he offered me a number to call back to verify the legitimacy of his claims. Oy vey!

Got a call from this number this morning! The person said he was calling from Microsoft because they had been receiving  errors messages from my computer and there are some virus in my computer. So I listened until he asked me to go to my computer and he would help me resolve the problem, I told him that I don't want to open my computer. He said if I don't do this now they will cancel my computer license then I won't be able to use my computer in tomorrow! I asked "why can you cancel my license that I brought?" He just answered "yes, I can. So open your computer now." Then I answered him "ok, go ahead to cancel my license, bye!"
