Received a call today but did not answer

Called at 8 AM to say this is charles with Windows.  Has called before from different numbers.  Sounds like he is from India and did not know what time it was here - IT IS A SCAM to get my user id and password.  This may be a spoofed phone number.

My caller ID shows two phone calls from this phone number yesterday.  Just the phone number, no identifying company name.

This number has called my house four times today;  10:01 AM - showed NAME NOT FOUND;
10:02 AM - showed Out of Area; 12:47 PM - showed NAME NOT FOUND; 12: 48 AM - showed Out of Area.   I did not answer and they hung up when answering machine came on.

Called at 9:00 a.m. and wanted to speak to owner of computer in home. Said computer was broken and could go in and fix problem for free for advertisement of his business to fix computers. Guess what buddy!? My computer isn't broken!!!!!

I get calls from this number several times a day. When I do answer they say they're calling from Microsoft and that they saw I had a breach on my computer. They then ask for my serial number. I have told them to take me off their list but they still keep calling.

Clearly a fraud. Individual called saying I had a computer issue. I told him I didn't have a computer. That stopped the call

Was called twice this morning, 1st guy said he was from Microsoft windows and hung up when I asked what his number was so I could call him back, 5 mins later a 2nd woman called and told me she was from microsoft windows and my computer was in danger... she told me that she could prove that she was from microsoft buy comparing the serial number that she had from my computer with mine and wanted me to search for my serial number. She said she knew I had a new computer and was very rude and pushy and was loud when I told her this was a scam... I told her to stop calling me and hung up. I wish someone would do something about all these unwanted calls.

got a call from "maya" today saying she was calling about my microsoft computer. I don't have a microsoft computer, but I didn't tell her that. I asked where she got my number from and she said when I bought the computer, which I don't have, my name and number were registered. I told her she was lying and she hung up. SCAM SCAM SCAM

Call came on 9-04-15 at 11:50 a.m.  No message left on machine.  Call could have come from Egypt (country code 20) with US code 1 preceding local country code.

Just got a call from this number, didn't answer and no message was left.

This man has many names, Harry, Henry, David, Michael, always same guy. Always Microsoft Windows issue he's going to resolve. It is a fishing expedition he is on. I called my phone provider & they took info to file report with FCC. I suggest everyone does the same.DO NOT talk to him or give him any information!

Got a call from this man with an Indian accent who had a great deal of urgency in his voice.  He said I had some very serious problems with my Windows that needed immediate attention!  When I replied that I needed to check the authenticity of the call, he repeated that it was very serious.  To that I informed him that I do not have a windows computer and he hung up.

If the area code starts with a 1 or 0 it is not from North America.   SCAM!  Didn't answer and no message left.

Indian male claimed to be with Microsoft - wanted to help me clean malicious software from my computer.I hung the phone up.

Jim, where in the USA do we have a "120" area code? It is foreign, or it is spoofed, or both, it is a scam because we did not call MS for help, and "they" contact us using different numbers when we block them - because they can. it's bad enough when phone scammers are local, which I get those calls too. But actually they are worse than just the ordinary scammer - they want to get into your PC after you allow them and when they have that access any number of really bad stuff happens. They don't fix anything- they raid your computer and ruin your life.

some clearly indian guy called regarding my computer is in danger. I asked him to say my tag number and he said it and I said no you are wrong and he hang up.
