Do not know this person, emails me.

I got a text message from 800@849.net.  The phone number that came up was 1 (210) 100-001.  It said that I had a past due balance and that I should follow a suspicious-looking link and sign into my account.  This seems to be some sort of phishing scheme.

I just got the same message... AT&T usually text from 753-5 number don't respond to them. I will be calling AT&T tomorrow morning. My message said I had a past due balance of $1.25 haha I just paid my bill yesterday so I'm more than positive this is bogus.

Same here.  It's a scam.  Over due balance of $1.25.

text from this phone number for weight loss with a website at www.poundseasilylost.gm6.com.  How do I stop this crap!  Selling Liquid Raspberry Ketone Burn™ by recommended by Dr. Oz.  The beginning of the message says from alert244@live.com.

Please do not post links on postings, unless you are 100% sure where they go. Many of these sites are for phishing, virus attacks, etc. Doctor Oz, TV's favorite shill, would be better selling liquid manure to agricultural countries.

Received text message saying As part of their security measures.  Card Services for Credit Unions Inc. USA FLORIDA ST. PETERSBURG decided to temporarily flag my my credit card and to call 1-2070517-2-61 and unflag my card.

Anon gives out some good advice: Surfing online w/ your "smart" phone puts that device under the same scary spam / virus threats as any online laptop and/or PC. And you're really playing w/ fire, if you don't have a virus scanner app on your phone!! ANYTHING from the number 1-210-100-001 IS nothing but bogus spam or a virus trap, set by a very clever hacker.  DO NOT REPLY TO THAT NUMBER AND DO NOT FOLLOW ANY INSTRUCTIONS FROM THAT NUMBER, EITHER!!  DELETE THE NUMBER CLEAN FROM YOUR PHONE.

Spam / scam traffic from 1-210-100-001 I see has been busy these past 2 weeks: The scumbags must be hungry and not getting their quota of suckers!!  I just got text from "Benjamin Barnes", who **get this** is inviting me to get into "guaranteed pay off" football pools, all I have to do is call back this number.  I called my local police dept and gave this detective the number; they're going to get the Feds involved.

This text message came in and solicited a get out of debt program. Please stop them from texting people!!

And when I checked my phone bill I notice my fiancé has been getting multiple texts from this
121-010-0001 number a lot, and considering he has cheating on me many time during the first two years we lived together and it's been 2 1/2 years that I believe he's been faithful(but in reality who [***] knows)
That its just strange that even after reading everyone else comments I'm the only one who has gotten a message in reference to
Singles/dating . . . So I'm super confused!!

I just got several texts from this number, claiming it was "Becky Tompkins", and that she wanted to come by to talk, and then got all pissed off when I tried to ignore her, and again when I asked who she was, then she told me she was going to come by this weekend to get her stuff!  LOL

These scammers are something else!

This 121-010-0001 number also appears if someone is using a website that sends anonymous texts. It allows you to send anything you want and hides who it's from. My niece is getting harassing texts thru one of these sites and they refuse to help police find out who it is(or at least the ip address) without a subpoena.

This is a scam involving check fraud (counterfeit checks) and wire transfers leaving you in the hole and possibly facing criminal charges while these criminals get away with your money. Goes by the name Harry Rowland02@gmail
Loves to hit up people on Craigslist!

This guy goes by harryrowland02@gmail. He uses Craigslist a lot. He advertises jobs, hits up those looking for jobs, people selling stuff, credit card fraud, check fraud. He sends a check. Wants you to deposit it. Then wants you to withdraw almost all the money and send a western union or money gram. The checks are fraudulent. Do Not deposit these checks otherwise the bank will hold you responsible for the funds and you could be faced with criminal charges while Harry and his gang gets away with the crime and your money. Report him to the FTC. Thats the advice I got from the local law enforcement because he sent me a check and I had it checked out.
