121-495-5111

Six calls from June 16 through July 8. However, the 121 is not a legitimate Area Code so this is a spoof from some scumbag. 4 other calls from the 121-495 XXXX but changing the last 4 digits by 1 each time.

Clearly a scam or someone trying to heist your phone number.

Got call from this number.  Didn't Answer, no VM.  CID same as #.  Bad caller, Bad!

Called at 5:21 p.m. CDT - didn't leave a message.  Odd area code, so we didn't answer.

I noticed on my digital call record that this number called 7 times in July at times varying from 9:30 AM until jus after noon. As one person noted, this is not a legitimate area code (none can begin with a 1 or a 0 )  Also, the duration of the call was one second.  I fully expect this is some kind of testing system checking for working numbers.  I doubt it is a legitimate source since my phone company knew nothing about it,  More likely it is an automated way to find numbers and feed them to some outbound calling service.  

The actual area code could be 214 and the full number 214-955-111x . 214-955-xxxx is a Dallas, TX number. Sometimes these call centers misprogram their dialers and add the long distance "1" to their number when only 10 digits can be entered into the dialer's memory.

Ok, it must be nice to have so much time calling people. Not to mention the new fake area code "121"?! Yeah, got sick of these idiots calling. So I picked up and said, "memorial Funueral home, heard back ground noises, told them all numbers are logged". They hung up. It gets very aggravating when I'm trying to do my work! Gave the # to HR. They are giving these #'s to their attorney and police. Yes, police can and do track these #'s down. They are in the USA! I figured they were in Africa, India, ect . Wrong! DNC is a gigantic joke!

This is indeed a call from 214-955-1111. Their robo dialer is inserting a 1 so it looks like it is coming from 21-495-1111
I set my ;phone to capture the full number and it is indeed the 214 number just as Mike in MD suspected.  Clearly some form of nuisance call.

How do you program your phone to capture the entire number?

Hate to tell you this but this is NOT a DNC number either.  It is a boiler room with Indian callers pushing a Microsoft Scam.  Since I have received calls spoofing the numbers for Florida, Texas, California, Oregon, Washington State, and Idaho area codes.  They also do a lot of just cold number verifying whether or not an answering machine or a person is answer at at what hours. Then they robo call on the hours that a person answered any given number.
