    answered but no one on the other side and the phoned clicked off after about 30s.  every few weeks this happens with this #.

    Hey there!
    just talked to bell.. it's an automated calling machine that monitors times when you pick up and will sell your number to various telemarketers.

    to stop this, answer it, press # 11 times.  this will screw up their machine and stop future calls.

    What is this bu***hit? Looks like this kind of companies forward phone numbers from one to another, and you cannot get rid of such calls unless you just change your number and make it hidden.
    Of course, you cannot call them back. Sounds familiar.

    Today around 11:30 I received a long distance call from 123-456-7892, but no one on other end of line. I could not recognize the area code and a search brought me here. Few days ago received a call from a local # telling me that I had won an all expense paid cruise and to press 9 to claim, which I did not, I new it must have been  a scam.

    I got the call from 123-456-7892 yesterday and today. I must say i am not a fan of telemarketers but... this is ingenius haha not only have they narrowed me down to a specific marker but they have now narrowed it down to what time I will be home. I almost want to press 9 and send them money for a trip I'll never get, I'm that impressed haha.. Hate u telemarketers but kudos to u.. well done son

    I was able to do a call trace on this number, I'm contacting my friend in the RCMP for him to see if he can track down who it actually is... no doubt several people could do this, and make that number appear on your phone, however it seems to be the trend where nobody is on the other end....

    answered, it was silent for a while and i thought it was my friend until i looked at the caller id, it said 1234567892. Then someone started talking in a whisper. She asked me if I talked romanian...thats when she hung up

      I just answer that same number she ask me if i speak polish ! what's up with that! she is nutz ! nothing better to do with her life. same # 123-456-7892 !wow!!

      These people called me several times before I answered. The second time I did pick up the phone there was a Polish speaking woman addressing me with my name. And when I  asked how did she get my personal info (my number is restricted) she lied it was on White Pages. It made me furious - I confronted her about that saying my number was restricted so it means her company bought this information from somebody illegally. She promptly hung  up the phone.
      Anyway  - here are the details of  this shady company;
      PULSETELECOM - website based in more than one country, but I believe it is one of those Russian mafia scams.
