Got an SMS from this number.

just got a message to call 1300003894 re urgent business matter.  no id given.

I recieved a text message from +61 400 920 465 saying:
URGENT! Pls call 1300003894 quoting 23453579 regarding a sensitive matter before 8pm EST. Reply N to opt out. Thank you.

If it's so urgent how come I can opt out??

Got a card in the mail asking to call asap on this number. Didnt say what for or what company just a ref number.
Is this a scam?

I had a private number call then a message left by them (which I have set to convert to text message) and it said it was a important call for [my name], they need to speak with me ASAP, a reference number and their business hours. The end of the message said "it is important to contact us during these hours, thankyou" but there was no mention of "opt out" which is what has made me want to find out who the caller is. I don't want to return the call without knowing if it's a scam. Has anyone found out who the caller is?

Hi, I am getting lots of call, the first msg i got was i txt now they ring at least 2 times a week always a different person with the same msg which is this is an urgent msg for my full name please give as a call back on 1300003849 and quote your reference number it is really important that we speak to you thank you.

These guys are a debt collection agency. Don't give them any details. Report the number to your local police, and block the number if you can.

A mobile number quoting to call this number has messaged me several times despite blocking them. It's clearly a scam.
