I've deduced this is a crap-call because of the same story over and over - I've been receiving calls every weekday between 12-2pm from "Private" according to my phone. The first time was an Indian accent stating info as mentioned in previous posts/links - he also got my first name wrong and asked me for my date of birth - I said I would not give him any personal details. He said "We have them, I just need to confirm"... NO. Then he stated my date of birth - completely wrong!
Now every day for the last month at least, they ring and I ignore the calls. Today a message was left "Sebastian Forest from Global Vantedge(?), ref number to quote, call back on 1300368012 and this is not a sales call" mmm mmm. Also - he got my first name wrong like the other call. "Sebastian" had an obviously faked American accent and was intently clearly spoken. I recall reading somewhere that these guys do special training for American accents to fool their recipients. An American with an underlying Asian or Emirates accent with an Australian number? Heck of a coincidence.
Anyway, there's no way I'll call back or answer any more of these calls. Apparently 'do not call lists' cannot catch these guys due to changing phone numbers (mainly American numbers from what I gather) and international jurisdiction issues.
If any company wants to legitimately contact me for a legitimate reason, then they can write. Until then, it's a fake as far as I'm concerned. Don't let the "e-age" fool anybody - it's still not legal unless it's in writing!

I got a few calls. I attempted to ring them back. It says its disconneced. I permanatly blocked the numbers and reported it.
