I picked up when this number called - I heard someone talking to another person, but they didn't respond to my hello

Turned out to be Oracle USA

Yes, I just checked also when I got this number.  It's Oracle. Business Solicitation in nature.

My iPhone caller ID indicates the number as 1(512)501-707 as a Texas number.  However, when I called AT&T, they told me that the number is a Boston, MA number (151-250-1707).  

When I try to answer the call, there is no one responding to it on the other side.  Sometimes, I just hear music or some group of people talking with one another in the background.  

I have been receiving atleast 2 calls per day from this number for the last 3 months.  These unsolicited calls are irritating.  When I called AT&T, they told me to subscribe to call-blocking service, which costs around $5 per month.  Is this a scandal?  I do not want to spend $60 per year as someone is doing a mischief.

I am thinking of cancelling my cell phone service if this irritation continues.

If you don't want these calls, best solution is add them to blocked list on your phone.
On GS3, simply open the caller log, from the menu options, choose "add to reject list"

This number has called 6 times in the last 2 days and when you pick up, they hang up on you.  We would like them to stop calling.

I get a call from this number everyday at work between 3:45 pm to 4:15 pm Mst. I called that number and it goes to a private home in Texas and that person investigated it and was told it is a spoofy caller ID meaning they are stealing this poor person number. Every time I pick up the phone its elevator music. It is really getting annoying that this happens EVERY day!

Got calls here too ... when I tried to call it back ... it just goes to busy signal-then hangs up.
Annoying as FVCK
