I got two calls from this number and it left a voice mail but it's blank.

its some one calling you from there gmail account. its a new feature

I called my own cellphone from my gmail account. The call appeared as coming frm this number. (176-070-5888) (Or to be exact, it came from 00 176 970 5888)

Thus, confirming what vinny already said.

I'd received several long distance calls from +17607058888 to my cell. but no voice from the caller talks. i'm living in Italy.

Someone can tell me something about this number ?

I got a call from this telephone number today, the voicemail sounded like the person on the other end didn't realise the voicemail had kicked in, no message just some static and a deep voice (I assume male) saying a couple of syllables that didn't sound like English that I couldn't make out.

I just got a call from the same number, 1-760-705888 !!!!!!! It's definitely from a gmail account number

I got a call from this number and I picked up. The guy said he was from Microsoft and he was going to help me to delete some files on my computer, to protect me from the hard drive being deleted in a view hours. I asked him how I could verify whether he was really from Microsoft and that's when he hung up. Very suspicious.

This is the THIRD call I have received,  First time did not get the info.  Last SATURDAY I did write down the info.  Told the person I was on a Do Not Call registry.  He told me he loved me.  I told him I would love for him to stop calling.  Saturday July 9, 2011 He called again this time saying he was from Aliant Alarm.  I told him AGAIN I am on a do not call list.  I told Him if they called one more time I would report them he disconnected the call.  I know they are going to call again.  So what to do ?????

just got a threatening call from this number, "watch behind you"  "see that white car behind you?" "we traced you"  "you kept calling the front desk"  male, southern accent.  Not too funny!

i got a call from this person 3 times in a row. they were asking me about a car that i apparently sold ( i am 100% completely honest, have no friggin idea what they are talking about. i dont even know how to drive O.O)

I just got a call from this number, and i dt hear anything on the phone. Im in Montreal.

I received a call from that number. I heard the message. I think it is a service phone number that connects with a remote telephone. From California's company to Ottawa Canada was a case.

It's Google Voice (VOIP).  They have a bug; the call display information they pass through is passed inconsistently.  This evening I tested it.  Of 19 calls placed, this is what was displayed on my phone.

CORRECT:  10 times
 NAME = "California", NMBR = "1-760-705-8888"

INCORRECT #1:  4 times
 NAME = "INTERNAT'L CALL", NMBR = "1-176-070-5888"

INCORRECT #2:  5 times
 NAME = "17607058888", NMBR = "1-760-705-8888"

Note:  People who actually live in California may see something more specific than NAME = "California".
