"Scam Alert" I got a pop up that said a virus infection and to ring 1-800-018-844

they had a go at me pop up came up said i was infected with trogan horse ring 1800018844 claimed he was from microsoft it would cost 199us to remove it . hung up turned pc off  back on fixed . scam

Had a pop up message said that I was infected with Trojan (TRJ.DealWare.Stealth) on Mon.9/11/2015 and ring 1 800 018 844 now. Claimed he was from Megatechnologyltd,Microsoft Association and it would cost $219 for 6 months and $319 for 1 year to buy a new Windows can pay with PayPal. I got scammed for $219

Yes, it's a scam. You may need a good antivirus-system to get rid of it - I used Spyhunter, at least a  lot cheaper than the ransom. And if you pay the ransom, you don't know if he'll really remove the block, or may fit it again. The owner of an 1-800 number pays the cost of the call, so why not call him very frequently and tell your friends to do the same?

I also have been calling very often to this number 1800018844 so as to cost this creep money as he is trying to extract money off us
