Said they were something something bell mobility Canada.  I couldn't understand him very well.

When phone picked up, nobody at other end 9.35PM

Bell mobility.  Free lg smartphone.   Poor English.

it is 1am and i got a call. I guess this number has called my home before because he asked for my daughter by name. this call was about a phone. I may not have been very polite but i do not think he will call again.

call display showed this number as been from bell canada, didn't bother answering as I have no dealing with them and was probably wanting to send me a phone, It is now set up so it will be blocked in the future

Yup, same as you guys, its Bell Canada about some phone.  I had a buddy who was here take the call and while they were busy trying to sell him a cell phone, he was busy telling them how much he loves Mcdonalds cheeseburgers and trying to get the girl on the other end to add his as a friend on facebook.  when she got pushy for him to agree to their contract, he told them he's not an impulse buyer and he shops at 4 or 5 stores before he can settle on a pair of gotch.  he kept referring to the cell phone as a "cellular telechine" and i believe even the girl laughed.  Just have some fun at the telemarketers expense, and don't feel guilty about it.  Remember, they are the ones annoying you!

Was trying to sell a cell phone with a 3yr contract through bell, said they need SIN # to verifiy who they where talking to, getting very annoying, Seller's name was Brian

Had a call from this number. Hung up before I could answer the phone. At the end of the number was Bell Canada.

I forgot the date on my call. It was Sunday, Oct. 30th. Happy Halloween.

just had a call from this number, they did not say who they were, only that they were looking to speak to some person with the last name chong...will not be picking this number up again.

Do what I do either let everything go into your message centre or have all the numbers that you deal with have a custom ring tone. If I don't hear Jingle bells you're out of luck.... they called here this evening.

Received a call from that number and did not answer. Never seen that area code before ? It does not look like a Canadian or US area code.
Sounds suspesious when they want your S.I.N. number.
It might be somebody posing as Bell Canada, because I don't think Bell would ask for your SIN #.
Once they have your S.I.N. they can access a lot more information about you, so never give it to somebody who you dont' know !

I just recieved a phone call from the # 1-186-660-5530 looking for mr or Mrs Nowlan.....and if I am the owner of the phone # they were calling...Very Fishy..

Yeah it was Bell, they just called my house.  I said my dad wasn't home and then the guy just said he could talk to me.  I didn't need a new smartphone, so I just hung up after a while.  I'm a nice person, and I felt bad for hanging up, but the guy who called me should just get a better job.

Saaid they were offering a check for 2.5million. Not bell

ya that just happened to me now. i've heard his voice from another call i got once except it was about computers. this guy really needs to screw off

Bell trying to sell a so called free phone.  Told him - man with Asian accent- "do not want a phone, sick of the phone and want to get rid of all the phones in house".  Maybe we should all garbage our phones, a CAN-Do solution to the so called Do Not Call List.  Have told a Bell rep in the past not to call here again, she said okay, that was well over 30 days ago! So much for any do not call list!!!

Saw the number and figured it was a Tele-marketer. I was right. He asked for me by name and I asked him to state his purpose in 3 words or less he replied " 3 words or less, that's...". And that's when I told him that was more than 3 words, I'm not interested, and don't ever call again. This one works exceptionally well I find. Feel free to try it.

Holy crap. It's bell Canada. I told the guy no and to take me off the calling list and he said no. I hung up and have gotten 8 harassing phones calls back within half an hour. All he does is make fun of my name and [***]. I'm beyond pissed and stopped answering after the third call. [***] that guy.
