Immediate hang up with no message.  Scam caller

Caller claimed to be with the “tech support operations department of Windows,” and wanted to talk to me about a “problem with my computer.” When I asked what company he worked for he said “Windows.”

When I suggested that this was a scam he hung up.

said he wanted to fix my computer.  I told him it was OK and he said no it is not. I hung up on him.  a strange accent.

Listed on caller ID as "out of area" - not answered. Called the # back later; no response, no ring signal, nothing.

This number called twice I did not answer, the first call I think started with 909-948-3765 then second one 190-948-3765.  I called one back on my cell with number blocked and it said number not in service, that was 5 min. after they called me.  LOL.

They called at about 1:40 on a weekday.  I picked up and said "Hello" but got no immediate response.  Finally, there was what sounded like a recorded message saying just "Goodbye".

Left no message.

Got 3 calls from this number today.  Once they left a voicemail. (Dead silence then recorded, "Goodbye") Once I picked up and said hello, didn't hear anything, hung up.  They just called again.  I answered with hello, all I heard on the other end were lots of other people talking.  Hung up.

Called twice today, picked up the 2nd time. Caller had strange accent, claiming to be with Windows and wanted to discuss my computer. I told him I did not own a computer, and he paused and said ok bye. Scammer.

Got 2 phone calls. Unfortunately, both calls were picked up. The first call when answered was dead and the second call was a SCREAMING woman and then a man speaking a foreign accent. Do not answer the phone!  They will continue to harass you!

Got call from 190-948-3765 (Ansafone -- really???); He said his name was Adam from Windows operating system and that there was a problem with my computer and he was here to help (sounded like an Indian accent).  I cut him off telling him he was full of crap.... he stopped talking then started talking again when I again interrupted him and told him I didn't even own a computer - I hung up.

As in "ansa da fone, stupid!"  But of course, don't.

Caller ID came up "Ansafone".  No message.  Blocked caller #578 (two Panasonics +  20 ATT IDs), idiot call #1195 (not including obvious mis-dials) since 5/2/13.  Caller ID "1" (100-000-0000) has called 70 times, including 12 in one day, 6 on another.  I also had to block my own scammed number as four times the caller ID indicated that I received a call from IT!

I have kept all of these numbers on a spreadsheet with dates and number of calls.  Since both blocking systems are now full, I have been recycling the older numbers that only called once or twice.

No one responded when I answered.

I received 2 calls on 04/27/2016 from this number. I was able to keep them on line for 3 hours. If they are from India, they will have an enormous charge associated with my number. Also, stopped Robo caller from working for 3 hours. Next time, 5 hours.

Called 3x in a couple of hours.

So far, today, I have received 3 calls from this number.  I knew it was from a foreign country and blocked it on my Call Blocker from Amazon.  Works great!  Even if he calls again, it will ring once and they will hear a disconnect on their end.
