a woman called our landline and asked for my husband, then hung up before I could give the phone to him.  So when I  called her back, I was informed it was an invalid number.  could these calls be triggering spy stuff?  I know that sounds weird,  but once in a while I hear   a strange clicking sound that I never ever track down.  And I am not afraid of hardly anything, but if anyone ever gets the idea to use these calls to determine  when someone is home for burglary purposes---I mean, yikes!

Don't ever answer calls from unknown numbers. It is probably someone fishing for information for either credit card theft or possibly identity theft related. I seriously doubt it is any spy stuff unless you are involved in some kind of illegal activity. Don't worry your self over it. Just be safe and check your caller ID - only answer to people you know. You can always set your answering machine to just hang up on all calls, then just call back the numbers of people you only know.

By the way area code (194) is coming out of India, so this is probably some piece of sh*t scammer calling.
