It was concerning something about my computer.

I got a call from this number and the caller rudely abd repeatedly called back until I blocked the number.

Called our home at 6:20 am.  Did not answer, sounds like a great decision.

They called about my computer, I told them no and to stop calling!!

These people keep calling early in the morning and waking me up. My provider Century Link says that the number is from another country and that there is no way to block international calls.

Call says she is from the World Wide Web (www.whoever) when you search or use the internet.  She was you to verify your CLSI ID number on your computer to cancel foreign callers from using your information. . . .sounds like a scam and I did not bite.

A man with a heavy accent called, reporting that my computer was a threat to the world wide web.  He needed me to turn over my computer to him so that he could get the number of my computer.  He was going to (1) remove a dangerous virus or (2) if I did not give him access to my computer, he would shut me down so that I could not use the internet.

Called early on a Saturday morning.  Did not answer because of being an unrecognized number.

Reading other comments on this page, sounds like it may be another foreign sweatshop calling to scam Americans.

Early morning calls and when I answer no one speaks.

Called and said from a cyber security company and I needed to change some number or I would be shut down.  I hung up and she called back.

Same Old Turds.  Different spoofed Number "198 745-1845" CID "Unavailable" Spewing Telephonic Diarrhea in hopes of fraud. Didn't work - the Call Blockers sent it straight to the TelecoToilet for flushing to the sewer the calling turds crawled out of...

Any call with CID "Unavailable", “Consmer DBT RLF",“Customer SVCS", "Consumer SVCS", "Wireless Caller" Etc. is 99.9% likely to be a scumbag - DO NOT Pick-UP and engage the turds - it only confirms the number has possible suckers on the end and it gets circulated as part of the universal scammers phone list...

Need a class action suite suing the telecoms for failure to police their stinking networks and thereby being part of the fraud that is being attempted and too often succeeding on their customers.  If the telecoms were not already buying the politicos that block the laws that would make this a reality you'd see the telecoms develop solutions to stop this sort of crap in a heartbeat...  The Telecoms make money off the scum bags AND the defrauded and couldn't care less as shown by the way they DO NOTHING !!!

Someone who could barely speak English called me out of the blue with some nonsense about a "failure of me computer's certification ID." I've had calls like this before from international numbers, people who can barely speak English, trying to tell me there's a problem with my computer and they can fix it for as much as $400. After I hung up on her, she called back, at which point a called her a [***] and told her to burn in Hell for all eternity. Maybe that wasn't nice, but neither is this scam.

A "magic man in the sky" has a special place in a boiling pit all ready for their arrival when things take them to their ultimate "Reward/Paradise with virgins etc..."  I delight in their eternal placement where they belong and them finding out that the BS that they get told by their scumbag leaders ain't the place they expected to end up in... Karma's a b*t*h AHs !

 Just got a call from this number,no message was left since I didn't answer.

Some no English speaking S O B wanted to work on comp. Told him it was out in shithouse and I would work on it. Phone Co

Called me this morning waking me up at 7:30 am.  When I answered they hung up on me!

Same Turds, 3rd time since first calling in mid Dec '15 and trying again a little over a week into Jan '16.  Spoofed number "198 745-1845" CID "Unavailable" came in about 30 Minutes after another returning scam number 515 528-7962 CID "Unavailable" that 1st called back in Nov '14.

Same turds have been using 515-528-7966/69/59/62 and many other numbers - all get promptly sent to the TelecoToilet for flushing to the sewer the calling turds crawled out of...  ESAD AHs

Don't interact with these scumbags it only get you more calls.

Exactly as happened to me!

Got a call from 198-745-1845 this afternoon.  I had the cordless phone with me, away from the CID, so I answered.  Some guy in New Delhi calling from "tech support."  I said, "I bet you found a problem with my computer and if I give you my credit card number you can fix the problem."  At that he hung up. Idiot! I listed this as a "Prank Call," but another choice for "Call Type" should be "scam call."

Called at 7:30 a.m! Did not answer, woke me up.  Figured it was scam with a number outside the USA.
