Some said they call and hang up. Likely a calling machine to collect a working hpone number to sell.

In North America area codes 200, 300, 400, 500 to 700 are special purpose area codes. 800 is toll free, 900 is premium service. The caller ID is spoofed (faked) which tells you about the caller (hint: crook)

called me Sunday morning before noon.  i do not answer numbers i do not know.  no voicemail. looked for info on the number and saw above previous entries.  probably data mining

A woman calls from this number and asks for a person that does work in our company.  I transferred her a number of times over a number of days.  I started to suspect there were problems with this number when she never left a message and would call me back immediately, as a new tactic.  She's been calling for a week, not leaving messages and calling 6 - 8 times in a few minutes.  DO NOT PICK UP THE PHONE IF THEY CALL YOU!
