I actually answered the call and played along for a little while.  She was from "windows" and wanted remote access to my computer.  When I confronted the deception she was very adamant that they were here to help.  I finally told her that if she truly believed that her company was helping people, then she was being lied to and needed to look more closely at her superiors and their practices.  (The site she tried to get me to type into my run bar was www.supremocontrol.com. Like that was going to happen. HA  This website has nothing to do with the scam.  It's just the tool they use to gain access.)

called today, July 4th.  Did not recognize area code or number and did not answer. Thanks for this service.  Calling to interrupt people on a holiday.  You go to the phone expecting a call from family or friends and it's this sh*t again and again.

They called yesterday about my windows pc
it was so loud in the background that i could barely hear her. I merged her call with a call bot (jolly roger) that took it from there. I'd really recommend using a free service like that to break the telemarketer system. It's also fun to listen how frustrated these scammers get when they find out they are talking to a robot!!!
    http://jollyrogertelephone.com/how-to-send-your-telemarketers-to-this-robot/
    or mobile phones (iPhone/Android):

    Press “add call”
Dial my robot at 214-666-4321. While you’re dialing, keep chatting into your phone like you’re trying to get Mr. Jones (“yeah – phone for you”, “okay, he’s coming hang on…”, etc)
Press “Add call” or “Merge call” or “Conference” or whatever will add the robot to the conversation.
MUTE YOURSELF so your background noise doesn’t affect the conversation.
Listen to the call, and hang up when the telemarketer hangs up.

Carlo, I don't exactly understand how you knew that they were trying to hack into your hotmail account. I admit I am not real tech savvy so what warning prompted you to change password and how did you know? Thanks for any info you might provide.

Another Microsoft Tech Scam call. Tries to tell me that my computer (Chrome Book) sends their server messages that my computer is being hacked. Evan after telling him several times that I switched to Chrome Book because of issues with Windows kept trying to tell me that Windows has services running that can be hacked. Finally realized that I am using a Chrome Book and was not going to get access to my computer and said "right, Chrome Book" and hung up. I actually use the Chrome Book because my Windows 10 computer would not allow me to read my e-mail or watch YouTube videos and am in the process of upgrading my Windows 10 computer to Linux.

Dōmo arigatō, Mr. Roboto replies to David
David, I'm assuming you can do this from your cell phone, right? That's f'reaking hilarious, bravo on the creativity. Always fun to mess with these pricks that call multiple times at random hours and then have the balls to ask to blatantly insult people by expecting them to give a complete stranger remote access to your pc. I feel sorry for the people who don't understand the severity of giving these fu*k sticks access to their computer probably because of a cognitive disability or something along those lines that makes them easy prey for a scam like this.

These callers take time from you, so why not take some back. Have some fun at their expense and play along by connecting them to the automated robot call as David suggested or string them along as if you are serious about helps them but are ultimately too incompetent to complete the final step that would give them control of your pc. When you want to wrap it up, just tell them they are live on the radio with DJ Jazzy Jeff and Ashton Kutcher, and that they have just been punk'd, beee-yotch!!!
