Search engine scam.

Yea got one also,,, Pressed one,,, Wait time, etc,,,

Got a call at work. They hung up before I answered. Caller id read listingape.com

Get one very often - waste of my time. Automated and no info for opting out.

Call back, press one - they have "48 business hours"  - 6 days to stop calling

My caller ID says Listing Gape.Com & says that I have a Google account for our business.  Which we do not & never have had an account with Google. Why would the ID say Listing Gape??  Don't trust these any of these calls beware!!!!

Claimed to be google, and when I asked which business I had they needed my info for, and he babbled off some name I never herd of, and I asked him to repeat the name. Then the call dropped.  Smelled fishy to me.

Said my Google+ business listing has not been claimed. The referenced Listing Ape is a company in California. This phone number is in New Jersey. I also called back, pressed 1, and was asked to give 48 business hours before they would remove me from their list. Since this is a cell phone *and* registered on the DNC list, i don't see that they "get" six business days to stop - wish i could get them slapped with a fine for the first call!

I called back and pressed 1 after I saw this comment.  After a couple of days the calls stopped.

90% of the phone calls out there are spam junk telemarketers.  The "National Do Not Call Registry", AARP, and probably the IRS just use their connection to mine phone numbers to sell to the scam people out there.  I have never heard of the do not call registry or the government EVER prosecuting anyone for calling people on the list.  And, AARP is a joke.  They give your name, address, dob, and phone numbers to every bs scam outfit out there.  We will never see the end of the calls as long as the list laws aren't enforced.
