I got an unwanted call from 231-224-2072 on Saturday, which I suspect is a ID theft scam.  Listed a report on that number.  On Sunday, I got a call from this number.  I was busy and didn't have time talk for further information, but the accent, voice, and background noises sounded similar.  When I said, "I think you called me yesterday", they quickly apologized and ended the call.

got a called from this number today and one from 517-933-2009 on 12/10 same script, the idiots do not realize that they are asking for the wrong person, beware this is a scam!!

We got one today from 201-257-4420.

I keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone.  I do not answer because it is an unfamiliar number, but they call 2-3 times a day sometimes.  No one leaves a message on my voicemail, so it's obviously a junk call, but it is really getting annoying!

I've been getting calls from this number 201-257-4420 and i always ignore it. I finally answered and it was a guy with a middle eastern accent and there was a buch of noise in the background. He said i had won a free gas card and some other stuff and just needed to confirm some of my info. This is a total scam. Dont give out or confirm any of your personal info.

i recieved 3 calls from this number today. I am a college sudent (ie young and stupid) i didnt give out any new info but i did confirm what they already had... in cluding the last 4 digits of my card #. I realized it was a scam when they wouldnt let me ask any questions. I promptly called my bank and cnacelled the card!!! I dnt have any suspicious charges on the card... but it has me worried.

just received similar call from same number telling me my certain card has been used a lot latley. I spoke with a woman that sounded middle eastern. Like a dumb@ss I said no I don't have that card she then asked if my debit card was the same brand and I said no......well time to go on the defensive

I was just called by this number and was told that they would send me a $50 gas voucher and a discount card good at retail stores for the price of shipping and handling, $2.48, for joining a discount long distance club, which I could cancel in the first 21 days for no additional charge, but it's $19.95 after that.  The company, I was told by a European accented man, was FirstAction Investments Ltd.  1 866-904-3982 is the number to cancel.

Is there ongoing investigation of this KBF scam? I get 2-3 phone calls a day from different numbers all identified as KBF.  I report it everyday through the Do Not Call Registry website but it doesn't look like it's working.  This has been going on for the last 2 months!

I've been getting hangup calls (no message left) from this number (201-257-4420) on my answering machine daily for a while. I have no info to add, just wanted to document the problem.

Person called saying they are with MasterCard (its a lie, I called Mastercard), offer you a free $50 gas card, then try to get you to authorize a purchase, its a scam, don't give them any information.

I've been receiving hang up calls (answering machine messages with no speaking) from KBF daily (sometimes multiple times per day) for weeks. Here are some of the numbers on my caller ID. All are labeled "KBF":

I've been getting calls from these people for the past 3 weeks. I answered the first one and hung up when I realized what they were up to. They just want your credit card information. They call my house AND my cell. I've called back many times and left a message (because of course they don't pick up) telling them to not call me again. I just reported them to the FCC today. I really hope they stop calling. The call from many different numbers.

For the last 2 weeks I have been recieving non stop calls from these numbers, but I haven't answered and of course no voicemail....Glad I found this website and knowing it's just not me.

I've been getting 2 - 3 calls a day from all the numbers you mention above, all from KBF. I have caller ID only and don't return calls to anyone's number I dont recognize. Hold on, yup they're calling again right now.Pain in the neck.

the number is unknown to me and i do not answer unknown callers , also there is never a message left for this number
