Craigslist scammer. Wants to pay by money order and add extra cash. Scam!!!!!!! Be aware.

Scam! Offered more money and claimed his secretary made the money for more and asked if I could be trusted to cash if for him. I sent him a screen shot of the last person who posted on the 26th and never heard from this faker again! Beware scam artist!!!!!

I posted an add and this number sent me a message, stating he willing to pay more and pay money order, also asked me for personal information as my phone number, address and name.  When I asked when will he pick the item he dissapear?  i did not provide any information, beware scam artist! Craiglist....

craigslist scammer. Here is what he said:
Send your full name and address.Am paying by Money Order Am adding $40 for keeping it in my favor.

Shame on this craigslist scammer.  Sad that this person has nothing better to do.

Posted an ad on Craigslist and he said that he wanted my address and full name and would pay by money order and extra $40 for keeping it in his favor. Never responded after I told him cash only

Yup, same thing for me,  told me that there would be $40 added to keep it in his favor.   I knew just by the way he replied that it was a scammer...I asked how they could pay me without even seeing it.... never got a reply

Just got the same email with this phone number. A real SCAMMER!

My wife save me from this mofo thanks to this page! He said his name was Craig, got the nerves to ask me if he can trust me?

Here are the sequence of the scam:
Send your full name and address.Am paying by Money Order Am adding $40 for keeping it in my favor.
Your payment will be sent ASAP please consider it sold
I will appreciate if the post is taken off craigslist
so i can be sure you are keeping it in my favor.
Next weekend for the pick up
Payment has been sent, An issue occur in the process of sending it out, my secretary made a mistake she
overpaid you with another payment meant for another transaction. i will provide you with a details to refund
my balance after you have cashed the payment at your bank. can i trust you for that?

I got the message on my phone:

I replied  Cash Only  then I sent another text saying, I do not want additional $40/- you can keep it.

Now I am waiting to hear back from him.

Also there is another phone Number (201) 283-8445 beware this guy is a scammer too. Email address he uses is
kwaters0713@gmail.com.

Same experience. Caller offered me $40 on top of the listed $800 for "his favor" for requesting money order as payment. Then claimed payment was sent but his secretary overpaid and requested a refund. Asked if he could trust me. Scammer

Precisely what I got from this low life scammer

As if I have time for this lowlife, received a message at 03:am asking me for info, I knew it was a scam can something be done to stop this scammer? Phone number shows out of Bayonne, NJ.

I received a 4 AM  indication this morning November 16th, 2015 asking if item still available.   I indicated yes.  He wanted my full name and address.  Which I did not give.   He indicated that he was paying by money order and adding $40 to keep it n his favor..   I indicated he can use paypal or mail to my post office box..   He indicated that his name is Greg.  2012838445.   If money is received then I would take it off the service..   Perhaps the FCC or Postal Service can do something or Craigs list to rid us of this scammer..

He is a real scammer who targets mostly craigslist users.

Ugh I'm kicking myself that I didn't google the number first!!  totally got scammed by the number... same deal... sending money order with extra $40 to keep in his favor... then sent an over payment because his secretary made a mistake and could he trust me to refund... when I kept asking about pick up date and time he went silent... oh well - live and learn - my first foray into Craigslist!  some people suck!!
