Got a call from this number, no message left.

201-283-9607 called my mobile phone this morning. Since I did not recognize the number as being anyone I know, I declined the call. Caller engaged my voice mail system for 3 seconds but did not leave a message. No way of knowing who it was, except that the exchange is reported to be in New Jersey. Almost certainly a spammer.

Got an empty call from this number this morning. No words no nothing.

Received 2 calls on two separate lines simultaneously, open line for approx. 5 sec then disconnect.

Received two calls today from this number.  Like others have reported, after about 3-7 seconds, the caller/line disconnected.  I attempted to return the call after the second call but a recording told me this is not a valid number.  Caller ID says INS.

like the other post there is no voice or recording ,just nothing.this has been going on for a week straight.
called my phone company but no help from them.

this number has been calling me for a couple of years now, but in the last 6 months, they only let it ring once, then disconnect.  i'm thinking it sells numbers to companies and is checking to make sure it's still a working line.  who knows?

Keep getting these calls saying they are Google. They are NOT Google. Pressing the # 2 button does NO good to remove you from their calling list. Can we start a class action law suit againt these people?????????

Got a call a few minutes ago. I am learning to wait before I say anything when I answer. Thinking it may be voice activated as once I speak they hang up. The caller ID showed the number and TBD.

I have a couple of ways to deal with these parasites. First, I let the phone ring three full times before I pick up. I pick up and don't say anything for 2-3 seconds. If it is a computer autodialer, 80-90% of the time the computer will hang up thinking it has gotten a voice mail or answering machine. After 2-3 seconds, I say our company name, but don't give out my name. That way they don't automatically have a name if they call back and get someone else. If I still get a person and they insist, I tell them my name is "Richard Smith"(it's not). It is none of their business what my real name is, they are telescammers who are breaking the law. If they persist in calling over and over again, I tell them that my boss is available, and then I use a sports air horn right next to the phone. What are they going to do, sue me? "Your Honor, I was illegally telescamming and they deafened me!" Good luck with THAT argument. The judge might give me a medal. Reporting these "people"(I use that term loosely) to the Do Not Call Registry is futile, they are usually spoofing their phone number anyway. If you have the time, have some fun with them. See how long they will stay on hold or still be on the line if you put the phone down. Take your cordless into the bathroom and have an extended "deposit" at the Porcelain Bank, complete with very loud fake sound effects. Tell them you ARE the boss and listen to their sales pitch, never saying yes to anything, but always saying that you will look at your numbers and see what you can do. Some scammers will record any affirmative answer you give and then splice it into a call and bill you for whatever they are selling, using that as evidence of an order. Waste as much of their time as you can, because that keeps them from scamming other people, and it can be a really fun stress reliever! Anything that we can do to make this less profitable for these ticks on the butt of humanity is a plus. Feel free to pass this on or add to it with your fun ways of taking back your phone lines. If these idiots would get a real job, the world would be a better place for all of us.

This number called on both of my lines within 5 minutes, and hung up both times.

i rec'd a call from them today. did not recognize who "B Services" was on my caller id so i didn't answer. i switched them to the answering machine which does not take messages.

Rang here, didn't answer as I didn't know what "B Services" was, no message.

Received a message from this number at my business. It was about one minute of music, why no lyrics, and then nothing.

I received a call from this number twice today. We have a 2 line phone system and this number called twice coming up as "B Services" and since this is a business I answered. And both times when they called, I answered with our company name. The automated person on the phone said "Sorry we must have the wrong number" It said this both times when the number called our business.  

Telemarketer!

Same here, just a hang up.

Keeps calling and hanging up about twice a day.
