They never leave a message, so I got aggravated enough to call back to find out who they are.  Got a recording saying "You have been contacted for telemarketing purposes.  If you no longer wish to receive these calls, just press 1."  Yeah right, like I am falling for that malarkey.  Why don't these morons just leave us alone.

They said they were from Microsoft, and I was sending them so many error messages from my computer and that I needed to fix the problem. Apparently I have the power to fill up Microsoft's mail box with my error messages.   I said ok and hung up. I called the number back, the message said "you have been contacted for telemarketing purposes. If you no longer wish to receive these calls, just press 1.

Total scam.  They are not from Microsoft and are criminals trying to gain remote access to your computer.  Once you grant them access they will install a piece of malware that will totally lock up your computer then charge you to remove it and/or malware that will report your userids, passwords, bank info, credit card numbers, etc to their server for identity theft purposes.  NEVER let them access your computer.  No version of Windows reports errors to Microsoft or anyone else and Microsoft never calls people cold.  There is information on Microsoft's Website about this scam or search on Microsoft Tech Support Scam on the internet.

Got a call from this number and was US Pharmacy which is a new number for the Indian pharmacy telemarketers that I can not get to stop calling. They called yesterday from 609-318-3105.

I bought some ED pills once 2 years from a different place and they must have sold my phone number.

I used to be in favor of buying cheap pills from other countries but now I am going through hell trying to get them to stop.  FDA/FTC close them down in India!!!!!!

We are on a do not call list and we got a call from this number this morning regarding important documents that my husband needed to call about.  We were giving the number 888 460 2579 and told to call that and give a case number to the person that answered.   I called the number that was on my telephone ID and it's Apparently it is a telemarketer scheme.

These fools called at 8am. So glad I keep my phone ringer turned off when I'm having sweet dreams and during the day. Reported and blocked.

This number has been spoofed by 4 different boiler rooms or scammers from the same boiler room using 4 different tricks to trap vulnerable people.

Was called this morning (by a woman) at work at 10:15am stating I needed to call 1-866--950-5806 and then on my cell phone I was called by a man at 6:38pm from this number 201-283-9610 stating a case was being set against me (old scam) and that I needed to call yet another number with a 'case number' to see what it was about. The man indicated to me that papers would be served to me this week (Oh no). Again another ploy, scam and sack of [***] people....

People don't CALL you to tell you you are going to be 'served' they just SHOW UP and SERVE YOU!

The village has let the idiots loose thinking that people fall for this crap- more annoying than anything...they are ALL idiots.

Actually there are some lawyers that will call and warn that you will be served. They are allowed to do so by law if they mean it. But I would also beware if someone told me that.

I live in California and the caller ID is from 201 area code....I last recall that is a NEW JOISEY area code....No MESSAGE.....JUST annoying hangup...

Another call from this number.  ID said "Service call".  Same old scammers, I guess.

I was being driven "crazy" until I got an inexpensive phone that displayed the Caller ID. Now I never answer calls from unknown numbers like 201-283-9610.

Damnably brilliant! These people left two garbled messages on my cell where I could just make out the words  "job interview" and a phone number. Had I been one of the many people looking for work I might've been compelled to call back. Ack, so freaking wrong.

I just got a call from this with an automated voice saying "Hi, we just rented your timeshare for $3600/week, are you using it or would you like to confirm the reservation?"  When I said "I don't own a timeshare," the automated voice came back and said "ooooh, I'm sorry.  We will remove your number from our call list."  That is the strangest one I've ever gotten, I think.

Called to tell me that my debit card has been suspended and I need to press 1 to reactivate it. Well, since I do not have a debit card I figured out pretty quickly that this was a scam. These comments confirm it.

Received an automated call at 07:51AM on Friday 20 June, 2014 saying that
"Your Debit Card has been disabled - to connect to our 24-hour banking service Press 1"
obviously I did not press 1 but this is another scam these people are using. Is there no way to stop this?

Just got a call claiming my Credit Card has been disabled and to press 1 to get to a Representative.  (They did not specify which one).  I hung up and called back only to get the *Did you just receive a call? To speak to a Representative...*  I hung up and came here.  Yep, it's a scam and no name given even when you call back.  Just another number to add to the blocked list.

Received  call saying my Debit Card had been canceled.  Called back ad selected the Do not call option.  This is a company cell phone --- not connected to my personal info.  Too busy to deal with telemarketers, especially at work.
