They have yelled, threatened, & told me I don't need a lawyer.  Trying to collect a debt that's already been paid. Made fun of the way I talk.

If it's already been paid, then don't pay it. Use a whistle, air horn or screaming smoke alarm and blow his ears off.

Is Cawley & Bergmann a legitimate business?  I know of many people who are getting harrassed with phone calls about debt, including myself! Have they stolen identities and bullying people into paying them money?  How else can they stay in business?  The people that this keep occurring to do not owe money!.  What can we do about this fraud?  Anyone know how to stop them?  Call the FBI?

they called my wife today with the same crap about a debt they were trying to collect. so i will call them back 2morrow and see if i get a response.

Ok, is Cawley & Bergman legitimate collection agency? They were very rude calling me and asking me for my social security number?? Shouldn't they already have that if they are calling me about the debt? How do I find out if they are legitimate? Any good advice would be appreciated, they said my only choice was to pay this off in full.. No payment arrangements?? Ive never heard of that???

I receive harassing phone calls from this phone number.

Got a call from them, picked up and said "Hello?. All I got back was a "Hello.". I asked them who they were and what they wanted and they hung up on me.

I get a call from this number every other day. The caller id show from Berg Law.
I looked the number up online and saw that it was a scam so I never answered
the call.

They are calling all day long i dont owe them money im not even a citizen of the united states they call me in the night time ....please stop

They called my mom and asked for her birthdate & SSN. I was notified by her just a few mins ago of that attempt by voicemail. She didnt answer it, nor did she return their call. Which is what I told her to do with numbers she does not recognize. BTW they called from the 201-292-8363 number
