Automated call claiming to be IRS and that there is a law suit against me without using my name and to press 1 to speak with IRS agent. Pretty sure it's fraud/scam.

IRS scam. They tried to get me to send over a large amount of money or they would send officers to my door.

received 3 calls today, all within 2 hours of each other.  When I heard the message I knew it was a scam. Just wanted to see what would happen when I called the number back. "This number has been disconnected"... So tired of these annoying calls!

Many of those numbers are stuck in there to make the message appear more legitimate amd imposing. Certainly do NOT follow any instructions these jokers leave by returning calls. You risk a mean charge, possibly wasting minutes, or getting an innocent victim. Most con artists fail to think past the present as well, so they'll use dead numbers. No harm can be done if your phone only rings with no kind of answer.
