Just pay your T-Mobile bill and then they'll stop calling, LOL. That number is T-Mobile collections.

I'm getting 2-3 calls a day from the referenced number. They leave no message, if I answer I get a recorded message telling me they "need to speak with you regarding an important business matter".

808girl, paying the bill would be a simple solution but I've never had a T Mobile acct. I've been with the same cell carrier with the same phone number for 12 years.

Yep, same here.  They are blowing me up today.  I also have no T-Mobile account.  Got any other "bright" ideas 808girl? LOL

Finally after the fourth call of today, probably the 15th call total, I was given some computer generated options.  The last option was to inform them that they had the wrong number.  So just answer most of the calls and eventually you will get the automated menu.  At least they identify themselves when the automatic response works correctly.  Just like the others said it is T-Mobile.

Never had a t-mobile acct. either.  but we have just recently added the line that they are calling to our verizon acct. so maybe whoever had the # before us owed t-mobile.  i was able to get an automated system and selected to be placed on their 'do not call' list, but the only problem was that it took numerous attempts, after receiving numerous calls, before I could get any kind of automated system, live person, options, etc.

I got several calls from 201-297-4498 'Closter NJ' . I did not pick up. I do not want them to call me anymore!

they keep calling me today,, there be mistakes on the bill and i ported the numbers out and ditched them, so they are prolly looking for the remander balance.

This is my third call from that number and i don't have a Tmobile account

Reading other posts on here, if it is T-Mobile, then they have the wrong number, as I never had T-Mobile.

This number called my cell phone.  Did not leave a message.

It was a recording from T-Mobile, looking for someone not at this number.
How do you tell a recording that they have a wrong number??
