Received 5 calls today from this number, claims to be from the IRS

All bs.  Block this caller

got a message left today regarding a lawsuit filed.  The caller ID said Closter, NJ.  Three days ago the call came in twice with the approximate same message, but the caller ID said, Flourtown, PA and the number was different.

Automated message, said a legal matter had been filed on our name. Seems likely a scam.

Call received 4 times yesterday, with 1 message about a lawsuit filed against me at 'the county courthouse'.  This morning the robo-voice said it was Officer Leeza (something) from the IRS calling to warn me that a lawsuit was being filed in my name at the county courthouse, and that I should call the number back to avoid further issues.

I am NOT calling.

Read this.  I got a call from this and picked up. Big mistake.  The call is now coming in constantly like every 6 hours and they leave a voice mail.  First one was claiming it was IRS. The next voice mail from the same number was about TECH SUPPORT.  Third voicemail was a cop that filing a lawsuit.  WHICH IS IT?! LOL!!  Scammers can't even get their story straight.  Tech support, Taxes, and lawsuits!  (sarcasm) This "company" does everything. The voice is by the way all digital you can easily tell it's not a real person talking. What a joke!

call said it was IRS saying a law suit was to be filed in my name at the county court house to call 201-297-4517 to find out more information . why would the IRS leave a warning call about a law suit ? I have been sent certified mail from them before but never a call !

This number calls 3 to 4 times a day and the first part of the voicemail is always cut off, so I have no idea who it is. Some robovoice wanting to call the number back. I've blocked it now but it still goes to voicemail lol.

I reported it to FTC / Do not call registry and to IRS Fraud department hopefully they will get on to that number

Told them to take me off there list and they sexually harassed me

Robo cop lady this morning claiming I have an IRS lawsuit aganist me from New Jersey. They need me to call them back. BYE AND BLOCKED

Got cal several times today again.

Caller id says Closter, NJ.

Says:

So before we go with legal matter and send this case
to the local county court house kindly call us back on
our number which is 201 297 4517 i repeat it 201 297 4517
thank you and good bye."

I got 2 voice messages yesterday from this number.  It was a recorded voice saying that there is a lawsuit filed in my name and to call that number.  They didn't even ask for my name, they just said, "A lawsuit has been filed in "your name."

I'm in Alabama.  I got it too, they are so stupid.

I am sure they start again the next day from a different number.

we have gotten this call several times in the last few days and I hang up.  then I tried calling the number to see what would happen.  it rang and then went to a busy signal.  it is so very annoying and I hope no one falls for this scam.

Claims to be from the tax audit department of IRS. Computer generated voice.

Same as above. About a lawsuit. Unfortunately I called back and it just rang. Nobody answered. This isn't funny when  Its done to your elderly parental or an elderly person that's a widow or widower. The government should do something about this stuff instead of getting itself into other stupid things. Do something about it State of Florida.
