R. Morris and Associates - some slimeball collection agency that was calling me about some Ford Motor Credit Co. account to which I'm not a party. Typical collections folks - very rude, no apology for calling me, explained to woman I am a consumer law attorney, to which she replied "I don't care if you a attorney - dat don't scare nobody. You ain't even need to tell me dat."  It was very difficult for them to believe that they called the wrong person, and that I must be lying about being the account holder. Typical collection agency felon.

The stupid people call me and look for some one else. They are wery rude and intimidating. I do not know what kind of business they have?

MRS collections calling regarding GMAC from 8 years ago.  Time-Barred collections, bottom dewellers.  Purchasing old collections that are not valid under the statute of limiations in this state.

7th call looking for the deadbeat ex stepson I haven't had contact with in 15 years! The automated part lets me tell them that person is not at this (my) number. Unfortunately, I still have the same last name and it's not a common one so I doubt they believe me. I'd LOVE to talk to someone, not a machine.

This number and in addition a 516-858-4005 keeps calling me for some deadbeat named Ronald.  Supposedly noting it isn't his number... we will seee.......

It is probably MRS Associates Inc.  We owe money to Chase Bank so they call us.  We never answer, they never leave a message.  Their contact information is: MRS Associates Inc.  1930 Olney Ave. Cherry Hill NJ 08003 number 800-932-5573.  If I had the energy I would use their dime and call their 800 number and tell them they owe me money.  Now that would be funny.

Keep calling that they are trying to get my mother who is in the nursing home regarding her State Farm Credit card.

Debt collector.  Debt was paid months ago.  Same outfit uses this number: 734-508-4557

Someone called me with this number as well.

I called the number.  The recording says it's "State Farm", but it's clearly another sleazy effort by MRS to track people down.

I sent an email to State Farm informing them of this clearly illegal effort by MRS.   I think State Farm, which spends hundreds of millions of dollars promoting it's products, might take issue with this.

Sic 'em, State Farm lawyers.....

That's the spirit.....there is not much these debt collectors can do, other than harrass and threaten.  And if you can get them in writing or on tape doing this, you can sue them.
